Cool in the fact that it was first hand but beyond that it was nothing special.

Basically... Kix had been signed to some record company, I think it was Atlantic, and they were moved from Baltimore out to LA to promote their 2nd album.  After a show one night in which Kix and GNR were on the bill, Axl and Steve sat around all night getting drunk and talking about the record business.  He said Axl was super cool and really wanted to know everything he could from the experience Whiteman and Kix were having in the business.  Steve said he could tell Axl was hungry to make it and that he was going to succeed because his voice was unbelieveable.  I know they played at least 1 show together...

I've seen a boat load through the years, and there is no way I could remember them all. One thing I want to do, that I missed in 06, is see the Stones in 4 different decades. Hopefully, I will get the chance ... again.

Haha, I almost got kicked out of the Crocodile Rock in Allentown that night.  The ticket was $10 and a couple of my friends and I decided had nothing else to do.  He's apparently hard core now and he goes "How many of you people saw VH1's Surreal Life" and I responded with "Boo, you suck!".  My continuous heckling got the attention of Ice's "people".
