I like Bon Jovi and all, but fuck. It's nine inch nails above all but one or two bands for me. NIN all the way ok Year Zero may in fact be the album of the year.

Bon Jovi is a Pop Rock Band.

Van Halen is a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band.

Van Halen is a better rock band.  Bon Jovi is a better pop band. 

D, I love Dry Country.  Jon has a great voice.

But when you wanna rock, Ain't Talkin Bout Love, and Panama, and those others just rock harder.  Close call, but Van Halen for their musical influnce edges out BJ.

Several years ago in a Beavis and Butthead book they had all these vs.

David Lee Roth vs. Vince Neil, etc.

One was Jon Bon Jovi vs. a blade of grass.

I'd go with Bon Jovi on this one, as long as Jon has a megaphone and starts singing....

Plus all those middle-aged house wives can run into Godzilla with their SUVs.

I give Trent Reznor credit where Credit is due and I like NIN but this is Bon Jovi



Jon has a much better voice than Trent, Richie is better than any NIN guitarist


BJ have more hits, more albums sold, they are a much bigger band then and now


So really there is no comparison


Trent makes more complex music but that doesnt mean it is better.



Bon Jovi hands down win this one.
