Title: 2006 NBA Playoffs
Post by: Thorned Rose on May 22, 2006, 12:42:18 PM
I always watch the playoffs, but this year, I've been out of it the most ever I think.

Sucks, I kinda check up on it. Crazy that the Clippers might be in the NBA final 4...

That's wacked. What about the Cavs taking it to 7 gtames with the Pistons?

Seems like a really good year for the NBA.

Too bad, I havn't watched 1 game yet.

Miami won the last game, and now it's 2-1 in the series.  :peace:
It was a tight game, dirk missed a free throw to tie the game, it was 97-96 to miami when he missed, then Wade made 1-of-2 free throws, Mavs had a chance to tie but Wade played awesome defense on Howard to deny him a basket for the tie.

I hope the Heat can win it this year, it would be a deserved win IMO.

GO HEAT!!

Miami won last night again, and now it's 2-2 in the series.

Wade scored 36, Shaq had 17 points and 13 rebounds. A nice win for the Heat. Next game is on Sunday in Miami, the Heat are going 3-2 up.  :peace:

Hell yeah, the Heat scared me for a bit there when they went down 0-2 but I knew they could get a few games back on the home court!

Said it would end in 6 games, still will.. Miami will win on Sunday and on Tuesday to win the NBA Championship

I think Miami is gonna win the next game, then Dallas is gonna win one, and Miami is goin' to win game seven and get the title.  :peace:

The Mavs have sucked in Miami. But the team has been resilient  all year. I bet that even  if they lose game 5, which I think they will come  out strong and win, it has been a home team series. So there  is no way the Mavs will lose 2 in Big D. I am still going with  the Mavs, but now in 6, maybe 7 games.

So far, the Mavs have beat  themselves, and I have not been impressed with the Heat. If the Mavs play their game, they cannot be beat. There has not been a game yet where the Heat  have won. Every game  the Mavs  beat themselves. Even game 4, the Mavs could not shoot, so I expect the  Mavs to rebound and get their act together. At least  I hope.

I am eating crow. The Mavs had the series in their hand and blew it. They did not deserve to win (although they SHOULD have won games 3 and 5). Hats off to the Heat.

The season is not over yet. Just the other day Nowitski stated for the record that Mark Cuban (Mavs owner) needs to learn to control his emotions, not yell at the refs during the game, and basicially, to grow up because his actions are hurting the team. When your best player calls out the owner, that is really something. Have not seen a reaction by MC yet, but Nowitski is up for an extension of his contract this summer. Cuban will not be so stupid as to trade Dirk or not extend, so let's hope Dirk's words are taken to heart (I personally doubt it).
