Title: What does this radio GN'R mention mean? (GH ad?)
Post by: PS_PoWeR on February 24, 2004, 11:11:29 PM
I was listening to Baltimore's 98 Rock and there was this really random GN'R mention right in between traffic and sports. It seemed so random. Went like this:

Traffic guy: .....and that's traffic.......

DJ:  Thanks Dave, okay now it's time for sports, but first, isn't it time to go back to some unfinished business? 1986, Guns N' Roses, live like a suicide. Okay! Now sports with Jerry Coleman!

Sports guy: Thanks....well [starts talking about sports]

I had no clue what that was all about. Live like a suicide? Is this an ad for GH?
If anyone was in the Baltimore area it happened around 6:40AM.

98 Rock loves gnr, I doubt it means anything.
They mention and play them more than any other station I've ever listened to.

Total speculation, but perhaps LLAS was released on this day in '86?
