Title: "Dust in the Wind"
Post by: Izzyfan on October 29, 2006, 12:39:56 PM
I just saw a live version of this song on Youtube.  It is awesome.  What is the story of this song?  At first I thought it would be cover of the Kansas song.  Luckily it was not.  Seriously though, tell me the story of this song someone, don't leave anything out!!!!!

Dust in the Wind was written by Todd Rundgren and Mark Klingman and was performed by Rundgren on his 1972 album Something/Anything?. Axl and Slash sometimes played the song as intro to November Rain during the Use Your Illusion Tour. IMO, the version on the Ultra rare Tracks bootleg is the best.

How knowledgable.
