There is alot of great music being put out of recent.  What are some of the up and coming bands that you have purchased or like what you've heard?

The Butterfly Effect - A kickass Australian band that sounds like a mix of the best bits of Perfect Circle mixed with Deftones, a little bit of Tool and some strong Alice In Chains style harmonies. I highly recommend their debut album Begins Here to anyone interested in some great modern heavy rock ok

Audioslave (can you still call them a new band?) are pretty damn great too.
I wrote up a review of their new album Out Of Exile in this thread here: http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=19351.20 and I still stand by my original review. It's a great rock album from start to finish.
