Did it ever come to that? Removing 'million' and the hidden track from Spaghetti?
Axl said he would remove the songs from Lies and Spaghetti in future pressings in the late 90's.
He never did though.

I remember starting a thread on this issue years ago and we couldn't get to the bottom of it.

I can see the headlines now:
Axl Rose incites riot with racially charged "One In A Million" tune. Fans outraged. Tour cancelled.

yeah right... "One in a million" with Franck on drums... you want a fight onstage don't you?
I was just thinking that when I read the first post in this thread..
Frank is a Tank...and I dont think Axl wants to start any shit with a dude that jacked..
I hope Axl can still run very fast...just in case...?

One in a million is not a very good song. Its hyped because of the lyrics IMO
And they added Used to Love Her and You Gotta Move and even did Think about you again...the set list does change.?
Nah one in a million isn't very good, only in the top 5 of ALL G N R songs LOL What a stupid comment

The only thing I don't like with OIAM, is why stop with Faggots, Niggas, and Iraqi's? Why not just offend everyone. Shit "The Jungle" has so many diverse people here. Should have been another verse including Kikes, Wetbacks, Japs, Dinks, Wiggers, Cracker Honkies, and stupid fucking rednecks. Am I right?

He obviously just talked about the people that he had encounters with.
And for the person who said that One In A Million wouldn't be a good song for 2006 because it would start an outrage. You mean to tell me that it didn't start an outrage in 87'?
The song is a really good song because Axl sang about what was on his mind and didn't give a rats ass about what he should or shouldn't say. I admire that, and I'm sure a lot of other people do as well.

Dude you encounter everyone here all the time. Its maybe the most diverse place in the world. There is no way Axl just encountered Black people, Iraqi's and gay people. Love the song by the way for its sheer vocal power. It is actually one of the first songs to blow me the fuck away vocally from GNR.

I don't think GNR will ever play this song live again, in fact I don't think it was ever played live after Lies was recorded.? I upped the whole CBGB 1987 show in DivX somewhere in the Appetite for Collection section if you do a search and want to see it live.? I also think some people may have forgotten who was in the band when the song was recorded, umm Slash....who is half black.
There was some outrage over the song in the press when it was released if anyone here is old enough to remember, like me.? But it was really kind of silly because the song was and is still about a perspective and personal experience of Axl at a particular point in time and if the band were really a bunch of KKK style haters they wouldn't have been running around with a mulatto guitarist.
I think it won't be played because it is a dated song but I am in agreement that some setlist changes should be happening, some different songs from UYI should be added back and they shouldnt play almost EVERYTHING from AFD and obviously more new songs would be nice to hear.

I truly think if it didn't have the N-Word (and to lesser extent, Iraqies and gays bashing), it'd be considered one of their best songs. It's probably top 10 for me (without making a list, I'm kinda assuming it is - if not it's close)
