The AFD sound was impossible to reach with them in the band back in 90 and 92 lol. The amp Slash used was heavily modded and was a studio amp he tried to steal , that is what really made a big difference in the sound guitar wise. On this topic check it out someone should contact Slash and tell him they are modding amps to sound like the SIR Marshall he used all those years ago , think he said it was the best sounding thing he ever used anyways tell me this isn't somewhat scary.
