Title: GN'R Trading World rants [Re: The VMA Rehersals]
Post by: BurningHills on August 26, 2005, 01:47:39 AM
You DO realize that other trading communities laugh at the GN'R trading community, right?

Over at the Black Crowes' OFFICIAL message board (where bootleg trading/sharing isn't only allowed, BUT ENCOURAGED), there was an entire thread at one point about how much the GN'R bootleg community sucks because its all nothing but hoarders, and I have to agree for the most part. Its a bunch of people who jack off to the fact that they have shit that no-one else has, but if you people stopped to think that if you shared the wealth a little bit, then maybe we wouldn't be in the spot where its impossible to find certain shit.

Waaaaaaaah......I have an unsurfaced proshot master, but I'll only trade it for Vegas 2001...waaaaaaaaaaaah waaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Give me a fucking break.

If you base your life around the fact as to how many rare GN'R videos you own, then you're a sad motherfucker, and I'd call ANYONE out on that.

Fucking share the wealth, its not the end of the world.

-Jeff

I sit here everyday and jack-off knowing i have all of these bootlges ::)

Ya gotta keep your rare shit to get rare shit from other people, thats the way it is so get over it. Poeple like scott who work/worked at MTV who get into the vault and get a rare dvd are not just gonna say "here all of you go, i worked hard to get it, but here you go" It's not gonna happen, it has never happened before. Ever seen the Whiskey '86 show floating around? No becuase the original taper has only given it to very few people. I am sure if someone else happens to get it they are not going to just share it. People are going to keep their rare shit in order to get other rare shit, you don't like it, start collection bootlegs from them other trading cirlces then if they are so great  ::)

all i really hear from you guys is waaa waaa waaa :crying: you have stuff i dont have and i want it, waaa waaa waa :crying:

Bottom line, you were lucky enough to have an opportunity to get your hands on rare shit and you took it.
Lucky. Not "hard work"

No, he's worked hard, I've helped him out in getting a few of the shows he needs. He's spent many hours, and many days reading and contacting people lookin' for a trade, and prolly been shot down a few times. And to all those that say Briggsy doesn't share, you're wrong, he's been hooking me up since I first joined the forums, the only shows I had at that time were on silvers. Now, I've got around 180 shows or so, and quite a few came from Briggsy, so maybe people should get their facts stright before they accuse someone of being a hoarder.

Rant over.

He is hoarding rare interviews, he even admitted it. The stuff he gave you was prolly mp3's and mpg's. Thats not the type of stuff were talking about here. Were talking about quality stuff that he is hoarding. He says no one would share? Well guess what? Untill I almost got screwed out of a pile of shows I thought I was gonna get some extremely rare shit. And guess what I was gonna do with it all? Nope not hoard it, I was gonna torrent it ALL. Just ask Will he knew about it. Hoarding shows just leads to more hoarding and less shows being available to the fans (which is what we should be trying to achieve.)  : ok:

Actually i never said i was a hoarder, i said i have rare interviews, funny thing is that i have shared this with other peeps before too...As Axlander said, i actually do share my stuff, not only with him but many other peeps i have grown to like along the way collecting the shit i have. I am a member of 3 different secret forums who i share with members all the time. I just chose to share with them becuase i know them, and i also do not wish to share with the general public. You don't think i worked hard to get the shit i have and i just got lucky? I dont think so, i spent a lot of time going through peoples lists and locating shows i still lacked, many of which had nothing i needed. Every once in a while i would find a list with something i needed, i would conntact that person and work out a trade, i would also keep the info of this person for the future and other possible trades. I have made many many trades, almost everything i have got was through a trade. Axlander was one of the few who decided to actually become a pal of mine, a smart choice on his part. I have hooked this guy up countless times. Also, you don't think i share the rare shit with him? Guess again...i share anything and everything i have with a select amount of people who i have grown to like in the gnr community and some people who traded with me and helped me out in the past. So basically, if you want to get everyshow, ya just gotta take the time and put some effort into it and look through peoples lists and make trades, thats the way it is.

I have also been screwed over in trades many many times, which just sets you back even further and makes you have to search through even more lists to find the shit you were gonna trade for before. I admitt the gnr bootleg community isnt nice, it wasnt nice to me, so i chose not to be nice back. It's all opinions, you have yours, i have mine.

How does hoarding lead to more hoarding? The hoarders can only hoard so much, as soon as a rare show is shared(i have seen them shared before on public forums) that is one less rare show...I don't actually consider it hoarding, they just hold onto the suff until they can use it to get something else for equal value, or trade a few rare things to get an even rarer thing. As soon as you make the trade, that is one more person who has the rare show or whatever, then they trade it for something, then the next person trades it, and soon the show isnt rare anymore...Example: I traded for the Val Du Lakes show awhile ago, i traded it with someone else, and soon enough it popped up on a forum. So i dont really consider it hoarding, more like keeping it rare until you can get something else for it.

Also, that is your choice to share your rare stuff you get with the gnr community, that is just one less rare thing to trade further on down the line.

So if you want to think of me as an asshole or a hoarder, feel free, personally i dont care what you think, at the end of the day, its just some guy half way across the world calling me an asshole on the internet... ::)

@Throatrake - funny how i dont even have a sis  ::)

CUbriggsy, I guess I should've pointed out that the sister comment was a joke (in poor taste).

Anyway, I don't consider your collecting hobby hard work. It's fun. Not work.

Mark my words, if I ever get something rare that everyone wants, I'll make dam sure that they get it.
You know why? Because I would rather make everyone happy knowing that I had a hand in their good fortune.
That's enough for me. I don't wanna watch/listen to stufff that I can't talk about with someone else.

That's what people call a Fan. Someone who wants to let as many people as possible enjoy what they enjoy, so they can talk about it. Believe it or not but there are a few more like you.

I never said collection bootlegs wasnt fun, all i said is that i worked hard to get what i have. I also can talk about what i have with many other people who have everything i have and some people who have a hell of a lot more than i do. Like i said, feel free to share that rare shit when ya get it, it is just one less thing you have to trade with someone to get another rare show.

so i guess becuase i dont choose to share all the shit i have with you i am not a fan  ::)

I told you before, i actually do share all my shit with a lot of people, anything they request from me, it to them as soon as i can. I just chose who i want to share with, basically people who imo actually enjoy what i give them. I have uploaded and shared many many shows before, i dont know if you were around when the virtual lockers were around, but i was one of the people with a lot of shit up. After they went down i continued to upload many shows. I actually just recently decided not to "share" anymore due to people being assholes about everything. I uploaded a VERY VERY VERY rare show at a forum i am a mod at, in a day the link was expired...2 people actually said thanks for it...10 people asked for it to be reuploaded becuase the missed it...That was the moment i decided not to "share" with the general public anymore.

I am a member at 3 secret forums, with limited members, i share with them.

I think we are talking about something different.  We are talking about sharing and trading lossless audio and video which means FLAC, APE, SHN, and DVD.  The stuff that I seen on your list is most assuredly mostly mp3 audio and mpg videos right?

Where did you get these

03.28.86 - The Roxy, Hollywood, CA[Incomplete]

07.11.86 - Troubadour, Hollywood, CA[Incomplete]

Those should be complete on DVD.

And what rare shows do you speak of that aren't on lossless.? If they exist in mp3 they most likely exist in lossless.

Yeah man... Going through lists, sending emails, sometimes you even have to attach screenshots. I know the feeling. It's a tough job but somebody's got to do it.

Trading is not a hobby. It's such a hard work... Infact it's so hard that some people get paid to do it... ?::)

You stopped sharing just cause some people asked for the show to be reuploaded? Wow, you big sharer you... ::)

You are a member of 3 secret forums... WOW... I mean, look at you. Your parents must be really proud of you. 3 SECRET FORUMS... ?

those are incomplete DVD's becuase that is what was sent to me in a trade, yeah i got fuckin screwed with that trade aight

as for those rare shows that have only surfaced in mp3, yeah no shit there is an original sourse so there could eventually be lossloess shit to be surfaced. like i said, as of right now only the mp3's have surfaced.

btw, you guys are really mature  ::) yeah, my rents are super proud of me for being a member os those secret forums and even more proud of me getting all the shows ::)
Who the fuck said anything about being proud, i was just saying those are the forums i share at ::)

so yeah, i already said it is a hobby collecting these bootlegs, and just like any hobby or any collecting, if ya wanna get something good, most of the time you have to work hard to get it. Of course you wouldnt know anything about trading cuz you get all the shit from here or leech at other forums ::)

Yeah, i stopped uploading shit becuase after upload show after show, that is what happened, so why upload shit when people just leech and steal links and shit, imo i find it to be a waste of time, so i am not gonna do it anymore. what i mention was just the last time i uploaded shit. I guess you didnt understand the part about me uploading and sharing a shit load of shows in the virtual lockers back in the day, prolly about 40 shows in all i shared in those damn lockers, i think in all i got about 10 thanks, from about 5 different peeps. so basically i got sick of uploading shit that takes all fuckin day to upload and have people just leech the downloads away, but as soon as the link expires you get about 10 peeps asking you to again waste a whole day to upload the shit again. i am not goona watse my time doing that shit for leechers anymore

::) ::)

Well then I imagine if they are incomplete then they are vcd sourced (meaning mpegs clipped together) and again what shows do you consider rare?

Lets compare lists.

so yeah, i already said it is a hobby collecting these bootlegs, and just like any hobby or any collecting, if ya wanna get something good, most of the time you have to work hard to get it. Of course you wouldnt know anything about trading cuz you get all the shit from here or leech at other forums ::)

Yep, I wouldn't know anything about trading... Check out my list: http://trade.gnr.gr

All mp3's and shit...?

::) ::)

You shared some shitty mp3's in FREE lockers. I'm paying money to host a site and share mp3's and videos. Last year I paid an extra $150 cause I shared THE MAKING OF SLITHER.

I torrent dvd's. I've liberated a few DVD upgrades and more to come.

I've filmed VR live in Greece and managed to gather 2 other versions, and more to come...

I host the GNR & VR DVD Bootleg Guide. http://dvd.gnr.gr

Yeah, I guess I'm the leecher and you're the God of sharing.

Go get a clue.

do you live in the 70s or what ? links ? links are over man. did you hear about p2p ?

so what, you upload, people steal it. what's the problem ? do you want money ? do you want people clapping ?

all the people that have, so they say, great GNR stuff, are im sure 30+ years old and live in the early 90s where they were proud to have filmed a show or soemthing, and they can get past the idea that now everything is global and must be shared.
hard work... yeah sure. wake up.

Ok, Briggsy,

I'm sorry man. I just saw your list. You're trading mp'3 and mpeg's.

Quote
Also I only upload shows, via yousendit or megaupload, and will not ship any shows to anyone. I also expect the same, it's not too hard to upload something, I don't want to have anything shipped to me.

We're on an entirely different level here. When you start trading for real, let me know so we can have this conversation again.

briggsy is a big trader in the mp3/mpg trader society. i traded with him some shows and i'm sharing all my stuff with him for free.
i started collecting lossless/dvd a few months ago and i do not have that big lists, that you have got, but a guy told me, that trading lossless should be harder than mp3...
i do not think so, the only difference is, that it is more expensive.
but i love gnr, so i'm gonna spend my student-money for trading gnr-stuff 8)

Downloading and uploading is not trading.

Until you move your ass to the post office to ship even 1 envelope with DVD's, you shouldn't be called a trader...

Ofcourse times change and people will do online trades in the next years when the speed will be really fast, but for me a trader is what I stated above.

i understand, i understand what you're talking about.
but there are some people outside, that are even lucky, when they can get the shows in mp3 format. they do not need lossless.
in different forums you can share the shows (as you said: uploading and downloading ;)) but one day, you'll come to a point, you cannot get a show of the sharing-community.
i traded my last 150 gnr shows (which is not a trade for you, cause i uploaded and downloaded them (via yousendit;))).
oh, maybe i did some trades: i burned my shows on dvd's and did some dvd-trades with guys, that are doing mp3 trades via mail too :)
but one day i started collecting lossless. do you want to know, what the reason therefore is??
gonna tell you: maybe you know marcel from germany. he should be a name in the gnr trading community.
he asked me about the times of each song from my 07.12.1988 version. i have had different times as they are standing on gnrbootlegs.com...
now i want to have the original-files to be shure to have an original.
i do not collect vcd anymore.

maybe we can do a trade anytime in future when i got more of the lossless and dvd stuff.

just becuase i am in college and dont have the extra money to blow on sending shit through the mail doesnt mean i dont trade shit. I upload something and send the link to the person i trade with after i get my link, if i have traded with the person before i will send the link when i get it done and they get me my link when they can. Sorry, but why pay money for that shit when i am just as satisfied with uploading and downloading for free. Why worry about all that lossless shit when for the time being i am satisfied with mp3's. Like you guys said, get with the new times and use the internet ::) and upload and download for trades ::)

Also, my vids are dvd, but again i trade by uploading and downloading the dvd files, .vob or whatever...but like i said, i have actually just started getting the vids as i just finished getting all the audio, minus the 9 unsurfaced shows...

Sorry for all the shit before, didnt mean to get shit started, i didnt know you guys are all lossless and shit. So i guess i am not a big trader becuase i dont spend money or dont collect lossless, oh well i guess, i am happy with i got, and many other peeps are quite happy with mp3's too. It's all opinions, you guys are all about lossless shit and thats fine, i am just about getting shit i dont have, either mp3's or whatever.

Uploading and downloading is not trading. Trading is when you actually go to the postoffice to mail out the stuff and go there to get stuff back. Thats the way trading has always been and it will probably always be that way in the future. Besides mp3's and mpg's suck compared to lossless and dvds. Like Axlgreece said when you start trading for real then say something, untill then your not a trader.

Webster's Dictionary - Trade: to give one thing in exchange for another

I see nothing about having to ship anything in the mail  ::)

I'll trade how i want to, you trade how you want to, either way i am still trading how i choose to, and will get the shit i want one way or another

The only thing I would personnally say is if you want to trade mp3s, that's fine, but please always make it clear in your list that the CDs you're sending are mp3-sourced. There's nothing worse than expecting something lossless and getting burned with something of lesser quality. Nowadays, there are programs, such as EAC, Cool Edit Pro or Audacity that make it relatively easy to know what the source of your recording is. Of course, you have to spend a bit of time to learn how to read spectrals and stuff, but I think it's worth it if you want to keep the trading pool clean.

This is the most important part of this off topic subject.? Everyone should make sure that if they have mp3 or vcd sourced material it is listed correctly.

And I do not agree with the "uploading/downloading is not trading" bit either.? I have traded with quite a few guys through torrents and hubs.? But of the stuff that is on my list that was traded for(because not everything was traded for, some were downloaded from STG, DIME, PC tracker and other places), 90% came through the mail no doubt.

I never said briggsy wasn't a real trader it's just that he trades in different formats than we do(myself, chineseblues, and christos and many others) and thats fine, I just wanted to point that out to him.? To let him know that more than likely he wasn't going to get the VMA's DVD or anything else like that with mp3's and mpg's.? I was more onto him saying that I wasn't much of a trader when he knew nothing about me, not that I care if anyone knows who I am or what I have.? I also wasn't trying to show off my list with my "let's compare lists" comment because I know there are plenty of people out there with more than me and in better quality.

We deal with lossless audio and video because it is much better quality for the most part.

Also I am sure there are more than 9 "unsurfaced shows" in mp3 format.

Trading: exchange 1 or more show's with 1 guy or girl for others.
You can do it postal, or online.
Both are still trading.
Postal is the old fasion way, online trading is the modern way, i guess.
But as long as you do it with 1 guy or girl it's trading, both of them.
Sharing is giving 1 show to as many people as you can with notting in return.

Here is something you people might like.
www.dvd.gnr.gr (http://www.dvd.gnr.gr)
You can find out a bit more about the dvd show's that are around for trade and for share.
Remember not all the show's are there yet.

WTF has all this to do with the VMA rehearsals?

Thread fuckin splitted already. For fuck's sake, do we have to have the same fuckin discussion over and over again on every goddamn board on the internet?

Why can't people just be happy with what they have?? Yeah boots are great, I've been trading since I was 13 but it was way cooler back then, no internet boards where traders would bash each other and put people down. Bootlegs are just CDRs and DVDRs, actually they are now basically digital files (.FLAC, .VOB, etc.) shared on the internet. Are they really worth that kind of discussion? Are they really worth people fighting over who's got what and why and oh the humanity I don't have the rare interviews or rehearsals? Who the fuck cares? Is that really important? People fuckin die everyday in floodings, terrorist attacks, earthquakes or whatever, people lose their job everyday. Some people actually have real problems, and all we care about is if someone has whatever bootleg others don't?

People in the trading community get disappointed and disgusted every day by how it turns out. I can't even understand how some people don't get that real problems are more important than bootlegs. It's just beyond me. It should be a hobby, something you do on the side, not a business or a fanatic cult. Fuck that shit.

I'll never understand why people bring these kinds of things up.? What does world tragedies have to do with any of this stuff?? Why does it have to be brought up in these threads.? We know there are more important things in life but we are here to discuss bootlegs in this thread (although it did get off track of the main subject).? There are other sections to discuss the rest of the world isn't there?

And this isn't a dig at you Will, I just have seen alot of this lately and I don't understand!

Title: Re: GN'R Trading World rants [Re: The VMA Rehersals]

That's not my point. My point is that there are more important things in life (not necessarily world tragedies, but losing a job, a relative, etc.) and that people shouldn't fight about bootlegs online IMHO. And come on, I don't see a discussion here, I see just a remake of the same old threads we've been through over the years about who does what, why, when and oh the humanity why don't we have everything available and you won't get it because that's the only way to get rare stuff, etc.

I guess you missed my main point because I talked about global tragedies. Yes, they are more important than bootlegs, even if we're just here to "discuss" about them, and sadly a lot of people don't realize that, that's all. I was angry when I read this thread because it seems all I see in "trading" threads these past few weeks is this kind of crap. Maybe I did use a bad analogy, and maybe some people don't want to reckon bootlegs are not worth cyberfights but it still makes me angry when I see this kind of threads. If people want to fight - "discuss" - about it, so be it, I just don't think it brings anything good.

No I got your main point.? You are tired of people fighting about who has what, why they won't let anyone else have it, and hey look what I got that you can't have because it's rare or because someone gave it to me and told me not to give it out.? But still losing relatives, jobs, world tragedies or whatever has nothing to do with any of this.? No need to bring it up is what I was saying.? This forum and others is about an hour or two out of my day away from all that stuff.

Not everyone is going to agree with everyone and sometimes words will be exchanged but that also is not a life ending situation.? Just as not having certain bootlegs is not a life ending situation.

But I agree a happy community is a healthy one and vice versa!

Exactly, and that's why I don't like to see cyberfights when I login. Because I have enough real fights in my real life. And I personnally don't need that shit online.

We don't have the same point of view about all this but I think in the end we all want (most of us) the same thing and that's what counts. :) And hopefully we can get there someday.

I can see both sides of the argument here. It would piss me off if I uploaded something and no one said thanks. But at the same time, I don't think it's fair that people should have to send money to other people for shows. What did they do to deserve my money? And I can't offer a trade, because I don't have any particularly rare GNR stuff. So the only way to get started is to pay people who haven't earned it for the same songs I can listen to any day of the week on my GNR albums, only live and therefore worse quality sound.

I think people should stop giving Briggs a hard time, but I think the way the "trading" system works is unfair on people who are considered by die-hard fans to be merely casual fans who dont really give a damn about GNR, when infact being a fan is about how much you enjoy the music and support the band, not how many burnt DVDs you've bought from some guy in South America.

^thanks man

also, i didnt mean for this shit to get out of hand, i guess with the "hot-head" of mine i take shit further than needed, as well as you guys did too. It is stupid to argue about all this shit, just peeps get pissed off, and at points need to get anger out. In this case, both sides got pissed off for supid reasons and it got out of hand. I appologive to the forum and to anyone i offended, i am relitively new to this forum, so i do not know many of the members let alone who has what here yet...I wrongly accused some of you for not "sharing" or having any rare shit, and i appologize for that

not to get shit started again, but i actually have gotten quite a bit of rare shit from trading the shit i have, and am actually working on a trade to get something very rare. Although this time, and for the first time, i might be using the postal service.

Also, these are the 9 unsurfaced shows, and the only ones I still need. And by unsurfaced I mean all shows that were recorded and going by what gnrontour states as what was recorded.

08.23.86 - Whisky A Go Go, West Hollywood, CA
05.27.88 - Olympic Saddledome, Calgary, Canada
12.10.92 - Estacionamento Do Anhenbi, Sao Paulo, Brazil
12.12.92 - Estacionamento Do Anhenbi, Sao Paulo, Brazil
12.13.92 - Autodromo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
01.31.93 - Palace Club, Melbourne, Australia
03.26.93 - Saskatchewan Place, Saskatoon, Canada
04.13.93 - The Palace Of Auburn Hills, Auburn Hills, MI
04.15.93 - Roanoke Civic Center, Roanoke, VA

I have never seen any of these shows in ANY format...

Oddly enough though, even with just mp3's i actually might be getting 1 or 2 of those shows...

Like i said though, i am not trying to start shit again by saying ooo i have this and only lack this or i am gonna get this, i am just saying that is what i am able to do with what i have, so i do not feel the need to have lossless files.

btw, all of my discussion is about audio, like i have said before, i haven't gotten into dvd trading much yet...

if uyou upload / download you're cool.
we're in 2005 my connection goes faster than air mail
i can download 2 dvds in 10 hours and burn them in 10 minutes
thats not even the time i would need to close the envelope and go to the post office.

people like pandora or whatever, that are still interested in trading are missing the whole thing.

when you trade you are giving something to one person. trading is the most egostical action in music's fans world. next step to trading is selling.

when you share, you're giving to a lot of people, and pleasing them.

i respect people but i hate traders.
im letting my computer on seeding dvds on Torrent, so people AROUND the fuckin worl, that i dont even know cna get the shows.
that's it.
do that. you're cool.

don't get in the trading mentality. i wish that axl could kicks every traders ass or rant about them. they suck.

SHARE.

How are we suppose to get the stuff to torrent if we dont trade? Thats right YOU CANT! In order for us to share what we have, we have to trade to get the stuff that hasnt been torrented so we can share it. Not all traders suck you know  : ok:

You need to trade because some don't want to share. not the other way around.

You chose the wrong target, because I hardly ever trade by snail mail. I appreciate your obsession with me. No really, I'm quite flattered, but I'm sure you could find something more productive to do with your time  : ok:

that's why i said "or whatever .." cause i wasnt sure who did what in this thread. and i dunno i guess i mis-read the post you did about "expecting nice quality, and tools to find out if what you get is good ...."  ?_____?

anyway
traders suck.
if they shared. they'll get everything too.
traders are, i'm sure, the older gnr fans that still live in the early 90s ....

i mean, come on, if games/movies/software hackers were traders we'be paying our windows and playing doom 1.

Expecting quality doesn't mean you trade in big quantities. You know, the eternal debate "quantity vs quality"  :P
Also, tools such as EAC are not only useful for traders, but also for checking if what you download is lossless. Believe me, not all the torrents you see, even on reputable trackers, are lossless, even if they're posturing as such.

And if you think sharing is so great, I'd like you to give me a list of GN'R torrents you have seeded recently, on DIME or other trackers. My memory must be failing me, because I can't think of any. Until then you have no business bashing traders.

well you picked the wrong guy to talk about seeding, cause i've been seeding at least 5 dvds lately, and i have a laptop (!) computer that i still keep turned on to seed ....

so thx a lot gurl. buh bye.

She means what shows have you uploaded (torrented) for everyone else, not what shows have you downloaded then continued to seed afterwards.

becausethat's thinking like tarders do
giving is thought more important than sharing

well im sorry, the person that share games, and put them on servers or stay seeders are as important.
yeah coo, you put a show on torrent, but people can download fast because people seed. easy.

but hey. let's not fight.
just share :)

Exactly. And you have shared none. I can see how great the sharing system is if you can take from others and just let your computer run afterwards. How great !   :D

And where do you think those people who share got the shows from? They pulled them out of their ass? Or maybe the bootlegs fell from tke sky?

You're quite the dumbass, and as usual you have no arguments.

Got a tree for that.
Water it every day.
Pin pictures on it from GnR.
And in time it grows cd's of GnR.
If you take care of it real good it even grows dvds.?
I'm selling seed of it on Ebay.  :-X

anyway traders suck.

No offense, but without traders, you wouldn't get half of the DVDs you're getting right now. I uploaded about 200 Gigs, on DIME alone. And that's audio and video. Saying traders suck is not right. Saying some traders suck because of their "I'm better than you" attitude would be better, but you didn't make the difference. Most traders are cool.

Wrong. Yes, I've been trading for more than a decade, but I'm only 24, and I don't live in the 90's. Check what I've done on DIME.

we'be paying our windows

Another debate, but you should be paying your version of Windows. You should pay for a computer with a built-in operating system. You know, "hacking" an OS or a video game is not cooler than trading a GN'R DVD. ;) I (we) would accept critics from another casual trader, but from a computer geek, about our geekiness...?? No! ;D
