I never wanted you to be so full of anger. . . .

« on: March 17, 2009, 04:26:41 PM »

Hello,

If you do not have a loved one that has been diagnosed with Cancer you are lucky.  I have, and although it has been 4 years since my friend was diagnosed she has been clean for the the last 3.  She was the lucky one and there are so many whom have not been able to beat this disease.

I am doing a fund raiser in which I walk for Cancer and the American Cancer Society (Relay for Life) and am calling out to all gunners for a donation. Your donation will help and give hope to our future generations.  Please donate, even if it's $1.00.

It's as easy as logging on to my ACS website and posting a donation.

http://main.acsevents.org/goto/BK

If you do not wish to leave a donation, feel free to reply to this post and share a story about your encounter with the disease be it to yourself, family member or friend.

I have lost dear friends and family to cancer.  When my direct deposit comes in (hopefully tonight), I will donate to your cause.

I'm sorry to hear that  Embarrassed

I have been fortunate not to lose anybody close to me but have come very close and it is too scary to think about.
