Face it, the GNR name on its own wasn't moving tickets anymore.  You don't do "Up Close And Personal" by choice.

Do you think finishing an arena tour just 1.5 months before the 2012 UCAP leg started had anything to do with it? Or the fact that there was a booked European tour in the summer?

Just curious to hear your take on this.

And seems to be driven by <gasp!> having to avoid say something critical.  Perish the thought, I know.

Once again, thinking you know or understand something, doesn't mean you do.

Personally I don't give a fuck about trying to boost some kind of imaginary online reputation by having a perfect ratio of critique and praise.

Wasting time whining about stuff you can't control might be productive for some, I'd rather focus on more fun things. Also, never understood why fan forums are supposed to be the safe haven for those who actually don't really enjoy whatever the forum is dedicated to. But that's just me.

I've seen plenty of fans assume they know better than the band how to conduct their business over the years. It's kinda cute, because it's easy to say things like "they should...." when you don't have to take any of the consequences of those words. It's like watching sports on TV and thinking you know better than the coach. I mean, if everyone did, how come there aren't more professional coaches in the world?  Wink

we wouldn't ask you the question if you didn't repeatedly pulling things out of your ass, frankly.

It's a pointless retort.  It can't be proven or disproven.

so mostly what we do here is speculating.
some prefers speculate about positive things. others, negatives ones.
doesn't mean we can't criticize things, but real ones, which are known by you, Jarmo, me, and everyone on this board.

They have a very strong case.

Back after a 20 plus year layoff, and it was right to stadiums.  Face it, the GNR name on its own wasn't moving tickets anymore.  You don't do "Up Close And Personal" by choice.

But in addition to the ambitious scope, I don't really recall a bad review either.  They ranged from "pretty good" to "that was fuckin' awesome".  And I mean proper reviews, not just online fan comments.

According to Slash, several other older GUNS N' ROSES tracks have also been reworked during the pandemic. "There's a handful of those songs that we actually fixed up and did when we were in lockdown," he explained to "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk". "So those have yet to be released. So those are gonna come out. They're really good, too. So I'm excited for those. We're just gonna put out like one or two songs, and another one or two songs. And I think that's gonna be pretty much all of 'em. I'm not sure exactly how many we did in total."

Cool.  I'm here for it.

Perhaps when they gear it back up in later 2025 or whenever we can at least get a song or two before the tour.

Takes a minute to get use to the female voice and her take on it but it has really grown on me.

The video is fantastic.  Is that vintage footage from some of the Temptations?  I don't remember video's back then but there was those dance shows.  Who put that video together?  I look at video and think is it the video or are those people just cool as fuck.   hihi

Really good job on that.   Cheesy

Small leak in the elbow joint.  Craig filled the AC up and will someday come back and replace the elbow.  I had the best sleep last night though.  The house windows were open and ceiling fans on brought in that night air.  Just the right kind for sleeping.  The birds woke me up at 5 but it was easy to roll over and go back to sleep.  I think I'll try that on those nights when I just can't fall asleep, go outside and breath in that night air.

DJ had 180 plugs.  Took about 3 hours but we got them all in.  The auger on the drill worked good for starting the hole but it stalled out when it hit the clay.  We filled up the right side of her driveway and the center circle with native plants.  The area needs to be mulched and the plants will really stand out.  She tapped into a bunch of sewer cover lids.  Waiting for delivery but those will make a nice path.  Doing a large area with a lot of plants is fun, instant garden.

I'm not in as bad of shape as I thought.  Or DJ is a wuss.   hihi

I get free money, the universe conspires to take it back and then some.  All the weird car problems and now my two year old AC is not cooling.  Got $10,000 for the hail damage.  It's a long way to go but I'm on my way.   nervous
