Last night .... I would have given anything to be there...

Michael Mckagan belongs on that stage

Couldn't believe that he was on for the whole show...
I'mm sure we will get a great detailed explanation behind it  Grin

Hey Jarmo,

Do you think duff could be there on Wednesday?

I was told it was definitely a one night only. It was amazing to see. Not sure how much the general Vegas crowd understood how special it was.

He owns the stage. Despite his punk attributes he's got stadium sized persona. And there is a connection between him and the songs & Axl that you just can't replace/match. Really great.

And Bumble seemed to me like the man of old- Happy. Richard & him playing 'yesterdays' as the acoustic jam before patience was a great touch. Axl obviously was not expecting it.

Great 3 shows. Friday was Axl at his best, but last was just very special for me.

Thanks GN'R & Vegas. Back to UK I go.

Last night's show was very special for long time GNR fans. I didn't expect Duff to play the entire who but when I saw him walk out for Chinese Democracy you knew something was up and that it would be a great night. Duff is a class act. This is most certainly one of the highlights out of all of the Guns shows I have been to.

I kind of feel for Tommy. I think Axl wants Duff back full time.

I don't think so. Maybe it was just a surprise for fans in the US.

Duff has played more shows with GNR in 2014 than Tommy has..  This is a trend, I feel.  I could be wrong.  Tommy has been the MOST reliable member of Guns since 1999...  And now he has to miss shows?  I am not buying it.

But Duff played not a single concert with GN'R in the US in 2014. The Golden Gods was something different.

If he did come back into the fold full time I would be overjoyed but I don't think it will be the case. Unless of course the Replacements want to get back for the long haul.

Last night's show was incredible. Duff seemed into the entire show and played the CD tunes with the same energy and gusto as the "classics." Axl's vocals on "This I Love" blew me away. They were literally studio-quality.

You?re probably right. The question is, on what terms? Duff won?t be jut there to go tour only. I bet he would like to make album as well. All we know about it is that after Vegas Axl is gonna look seriusly into the posibilty of releasing whatever is the vault. Besides Duff may want his share in the partnetship again. Is Axl willing to do that?

I have to agree that it does seem like Axl wants Duff back. I like Tommy, BUT it would be AWESOME to have Duff back in GNR! Only time will tell!

Richard & him playing yesterday as acoustic jam before patience was a great touch. Axl obviously was not expecting it.

Did you recognize the jam?

To me the jam sounded like Yesterdays.

What a great show! Will upload videos when I get back home from Vegas!

Shocked Yesterdays is one of my favorite GNR songs. It would be great if they played it and Axl joined them like he did when Ron was playing Don't Cry as part of his solo.   drool
