I wonder if this rock opera style has something to with Chinese Democracy  . Although it's something that has been done again and used in the past unsuccesfully. |

The versions of "White Christmas" supposedly by GN'R and The Wildhearts are both fakes.
The GN'R one has been disputed for a while..it's just some piss-poor Axl impersonator. The Wildhearts never covered it either - I believe I read it on their official site at one time.
They're both cool versions, but neither one is by who the supposed artist is.
