The word ugly is used loosely here Lyn...its meant to imply who do you think is downright weird looking - i.e. Jacko, or else, who is touted as being fine looking, but really isnt..and people tend to follow the crowd and say.."oh yeah, they must be okay, everyone says so" whilst thinking - 'what the??!' i.e. Sarah Jessica Parker, and Tom Cruise.

I mean, what is it with Tom Cruise - IMO, the guy is a dog - he's short, his eyes are way too close together, his nose is too big..yick. And no, Im not saying that the guy is ugly - he's just so not the great looking god like person that he has always been made out to be.

I think the same thing about Mel Gibson - dont think the man is ugly, but whats the big deal?? If he walked past me in the street, he wouldnt turn my head.
