Ok wow, im shaking lol....Ill give you a review of the show first then Ill tell you what happened....
Few things...
1)Says there will be no replacement reunion because he will be very busy the next few years. Also said he has no interest because they left off on a good note....
2)when asked about being in gnr: "totally awesome" says axl is a great guy and that hes been very good to him. He talked about how they met{josh freese}. He was telling how the last tour was cool and that people still go crazy for Axl. He was joking that he can slip in and out and how he and the rest of the band can slip right by. Then they joked about how Tommys tour is holding up CD. That was a funny part. Other than that, nothing much. The dj didnt ask much regarding the band or the album.
3}lol....they commented on how some1 from the internet called and asked to when cd will be coming out. Tommy said that is a question he always gets asked and wished people would not ask. He said when it comes out it will come out and that when it does they will be in every bus, van, train etc touring liek crazy. Siad its going to be real fun. Then they went on and joked a lil more. Thats about it.
4) Closing the show he said my album will be coming out tuesday, gnr will be coming out "soon down the road" and all hell will break loose...
Thats about it...nothing major. I think the thing to take note was that gnr will be doing a lot of touring when things get goin.....
ok so while listening to the show I said to myself why dont I try and call the station and see if I can talk to Tommy.
So the guy puts me on with Tommy. Im fukin nervous as hell. So I tell him how Im a huge gnr fan and told him how great msg was. Then I talked to him about what he said earlier regarding him and the band kind of slipping under the radar and stuff. I told him that yea Axl is Axl but I told him how theres a lot of diehard fans out there who appreciate him and the rest of the band and how we love them just as much and that we just want to see them tear shit up. I said yea the internet and media gives the band a lot of abuse and rumors but i emphasized that peopel really appreciate the band and what they are doing. He told me how he really appreciated that and that it was the first time someone has told him that. SO that was cool. By that time i was so nervous and had no idea what to ask. He told me that it will be worth the wait and to tell "your internet buddies" just to be patient. He then told me again how he appreciated my comments and then said he had to get back to the interview.
Thats bout it. He was truly a cool guy. Im glad I managed to get my point across regarding how he is very much appreciated. Other than that I was too nervous...lol sorry...im so happy ...yay...im out enjoy mofo's

With all that's been happening recently, including this interview, it's hard not to believe CD finally coming out.

Man, very nice! I think it's good for him to know (if he doesn't) that a lot of true fans really support the band.

HE could have revealed much much more.
Maybe he could have, but maybe he and the rest of the band have been told to keep a tighter reign on GN'R-related information. Maybe he could have, but he is sick of the GN'R-question assault and decided not to say anything that would encourage further questioning. I couldn't say I'd blame him if that were the case. Ali

HE could have revealed much much more.
Its Tommy's solo career, he's trying to sell his cds, and get across to the people as a solo artist. Its hard for him already with all the GNR questions. He didnt have to reveal anything to anyone he isnt out promoting GNR

mad props young gunner
tommy has a solo cd out and from what i hear is pretty fuckin good, so he deserves attention of his own for putting out a great cd when CD comes out thats when he will gladly answer GNR questions
and once again tommy is also very cool as well as the rest of the band for keeping axl's secret and not revealing what they arent suppose to reveal
if i saw tommy or any band member on the street i wouldnt even mention CD, odds are im just gonna piss em off and hes never gonna tell me anyway so id wave say whats up and if i had a long convo id do what young gunner did!
