I dont know how many of yall are aware of this, but if you go to dizzyreed.com, Dizzy's wife is a regular poster on the message board.  She posts under the name smutwriter.  She has posted that BH is still in the band and that CD will come out.  She has also confirmed RIR.  She has not however given a release date.  She has said that as soon as she hears of one she will post it there.  Yall may want to check this site out from time to time for info if yall are not already. This sight does appear to be legit.  

How they know is really his wife ? just asking

The trouble is Dizzy has demonstrated he has even less of an idea about the album than we do therefore its perhaps not unnatural to assume his wife will know nothing either.

Its been confirmed by a # of people that it really is his wife who posts.  Unfortunately, though, I have to agree with Izzy on this one - I have no doubt that Dizzy & Lisa currently believes what they're saying to be true - problem is, the red headed recluse and / or Interscope might have different ideas.  (Not to even mention the who Bucket thing right now)

Well you can go to the sight and order an autograph copy of her book...So that is some proof there.  You can also get auto graphs from Dizzy as well.

I dunno what is going on.  Perhaps axl wants alot of room between the failed US Tour and the release to make it appear like this is another comeback. Who knows. It is beginning to get quite ridiculous.

We all thought that the album would drop before Rio but that is in huge jeopardy at this point; it is possible that we will get the same set list. imagine the horror and disappointment.

Exactly.  In January 2003, Dizzy said that the album would be out be June 2003.  What he and his wife say is not reliable.  In fact, nothing is reliable.

Sorry to tell you this but I'm not seeing any confirmation from Lisa regarding RIR 4. Also I doubt very much she would even state that unless the info was already available through other means.

And to tell you the truth, when confronted with the question of this I believe she stated some thing to the effect that she doesn't ask any more. I mean really . . . . if I was in a band I wouldn't want my wife bugging me like some sort of obsessed fan.  :nervous:

I agree 100% with you.........I doubt the topic of GN'R  comes up at their dinner table. I still have faith that the CD will be out by the time they go on tour in May. Till then I'm looking forward to seeing Dizzy with Harry this month!

Really shouldn't identify the gunner camp by thier screen names.  In this case it's no big secret but if they want you to know they will speak up.  

Lisa's a sweetheart and has done a lot to support the Dizzy site.  Think she stops by every board.  Hangs out at the ones who don't bitch at her or Dizzy about things they have no control over.  Tells us what she can when she can.  Real down to earth person, you'll like her.

Younggunner is laying low. I play college baseball and have been real busy. Soon is almost the word. As long as she said bucket is still in the band thats all i care about. When the release day comes i will be creaming in my pants and gettin ready to hear one of the greatest albums ever created.

I'll reiterate my point that Dizzy is simply towing the company line....It would matter nothing to me if the entire band, Axl included, came out and said the record would be out 2 weeks after Lisbon....We've come so far as to see printed ads for CD being pulled the week before MSG...Unless there's an official announcement and a full on promotional blitz between 2-3 months after Lisbon (At the latest), any announcement Axl makes there has to be considered a futile effort.

How can you believe what Dizzy's wife says? She knows absolutely nothing. Dizzy knows nothing. The musicians only Axl's employees, and he decides. But it doesn't even matte what Axl says. 'We'll be back with a bunch of new songs next summer' - didn't he say it in 2001? Yes, he did. It's absolutely irrelevant, what any GN'R member or the management/record company says. Words doesn't matter. Don't expect the album ever come out, it can only be a great surprise, an unexpected gift.

Don't listen to what anyone says. We know basically more than Dizzy himself. We're updated day to day on what every damn member or not member of GNR are doing. They are obviously not.

Axl said the same thing. He find out things about his band mates online, and he makes a few calls and they go "yeah, that's right" blah blah blah.

So if you want information about Chinese Democracy, ask hardcore GNR fans themselves. They know the entire story.

Some people here would have you think that GNR is a dictatorship where Axl does everything, and decides everything and everyone else knows shit.

I spoke to Lisa, asked about how that situation is:

"he knows pretty much everything. he just doesn't talk about it. they are all in contact with management at least once a week".

Now that's what's called the rational, believable, realistic situation.

As far as I can see, this album's done and decisions are being made by management as to when it's gonna be released.

Trust me, Dizzy and Lisa are both very informed, they're just so clad-tight in confidentiality clauses that they literally can't breathe a word about anything. I know this.

I would say that some of the fans are young... but, I shouldn't make excuses.  The fact is that some of the fans are assholes.

No, the sad part is that gnr fans cant understand the fact that there is no information on chinese democracy or the follow ups because it is not for us to know. Maybe gnr knows what they are working on and dont wanna tell anyone. Maybe they wanna keep it a big surprise. Its sad that gnr fans think they should be rewarded. You are only a music fan. Im sure if it was up to them the members would have released the album awhile back. BUt axl wants to hold nothing back. As for release dates, the band knows everyhting there is to know, so they dont get frusterated.
Your 100% right. And thats the number one problem and why gnr has become a joke. The internet has been good and bad for gnr, for the most part good. BUt when fans create bullshit rumors, bullshit interviews, pretend to be ceo's of record companies, marketing experts, and everything else under the sun and do that day in and day out for a very long time it all adds up and gets people frusterated.

now half of you are saying "gee golly if they just updated the site and or axl gave us lil updates there wouldnt be that problem". True but they dont. You cant rebuild somethign that was huge overnight. They have said when there is news you will know about it. Has the band shot themselves in the foot by saying things here and there and then not meeting them. Yes but never once have they mentioned a specific month or date. Their comments are allows followed by if things go right, etc. Obiviously things havnt for whatver reason. Looks like a lot of the shit has to do with record label stuff more than anything.

Point is relax. The album will be in your hands one day. You choose to involve yourself in the soap opera on a day in day out basis all of these years. And thats totally fine. But all they ask is for you to hang in there and be patient. Your reward will be thier best efforts. Thats all a music fan can ask for if you ask me. All i could ask for is that the band gives me their best efforts on an album and when they tour they gve their best live effort. Anything more than that is gravy. If they are great woth their fans in communication and say hello on a website more power to them and even better for us. But for the time being they arent. Does that mean they dont care or they suck? Hell fukin no. I rather have a memorable album in my hand to show off rather than a mediocre album with a hello on a website. but thats just me.

Last tour was to hear the classics one last time and for this band to get out of the studio. If you wanna say they are sellouts for doing that then i feel bad for you.

3 albums owrth of material does not qualify for a replacement band buddy. Stop getting upset that the albums arent out yet. Ive said this a few times now...Tommy is a punk legend, finck has been in this band since 97, bucket is all about the music. DO you honestly think those guys are in it for the money. They have been a band since 98/99. MAking music as a band. They soon will be the bggest names in music. Kids will have buckethead posters on thier wall because of the material he created with gnr. A lot of you people just dont get it.

I agree with you 10000 percent..... everyone blame axl for the records delay... even tho there is a band, managment, record company, lawyers, contracts,  designers, .......a million other people that have thier hands in this project....but coz he sings the fucking songs its all his fault.....  sure lisa knows what her husband tells her.... but come on wifes and girlfriends dont know what goes on in the band.. behind the scenes.... or on the road....  when axl wants us to know something he will fucking tell us...he knows how to use the phone or the press or the internet...

1. Lisa and her kids often tour with the band.  During the show you can often spot them sitting on the stage or by the front of the stage.
2. She's heard a lot of the new songs.  She may not have all the answers but at least she's heard the friggin' songs.

Lisa knows a lot, unfortunately she said that they're not allowed to say anything as everything is a big secret.

On another note, here's something for everyone to blow out of all proportion:
Dizzy said he hoped to have the album in his hands by the next visit to Chicago, which happens to be 24th MARCH 2004.

On a more serious note, I think that we'd be fools NOT to think that Lisa has info.  People can bitch all they want about "Dizzy doesn't know anything" but the fact is that Dizzy is most likely as "in the know" as anybody on earth.  He reports what he's told that doesn't violate confidentiality agreements, and plans change!  I mean, c'mon!!  
Give Lisa--and Dizzy--a break.  They're doing what they can to keep us informed.

Funny how when you look at things with logic, some people can look like total jackasses.

If Dizzy said something, then it was what he knew to be the case at the time, and it was very good of him to tell you anything at all.
