if i wore a GNR shirt to their concert in PHX.  I understand they are trying to give themselves a seperate identity but I also want to show that I have been a fan since the beginning...what are your thoughts?

If it's a newGN'R shirt, I would suggest you not wear it, but if it's an old GN'R shirt then go for it! : ok:

There's no denying the past that these guys have, hell they are even playing GN'R songs live, so I see no harm in it.

Fuck that, they'd wanna appreciate someone wearing a shirt of their old band, even if it's Snake Pit shirt.
Show who you are : ok: : ok:

Slash, Duff and Matt will always be a part of Guns N Roses, so wearing GNR T-shirt is ok  : ok:

I don't think so. It's not a Nu-GN'R concert, where a 'Slash is GN'R' shirt means Axl will call the security guards to beat you up

So then you think an Axl=GN'R Tshirt would be appreciated?
How about "Lawsuits Rock!"
lol
... all right, all right - fire away   :nervous:
i just couldn't resist!  ;D

I think Lawsuits Rock T-shirt would be very welcomed by even Nu-GN'R and VR members  :hihi: Let's have a try

 :hihi:

If u were at a GNR show with a VR t shirt u'd get thrown out - or if ur really lucky Axl will yell at you from the stage then hurl himself at you, steal your camera and punch you in the face

Now u couldn't deny that would be a memorable show!

Hell no man, wear it with pride.  Slash and Duff might be in Velvet Revolver right now but they are always going to be Guns N Roses.  Wear it with pride!  :smoking:

Some dude at the KC VR show wore an "Axl Rose is Suing Me"
t-shirt.

The guy had posted pics on his website of one of the 2002 shows (Chicago maybe?) and Axl's lawyers sent him a "cease and desist" order...

That Axl sued the guy...

Like, what does Axl have to gain (or lose for that matter) when it comes to this. Lawsuits are a huge part of Axl's world whether it's him getting sued or vice-versa.

I think it's kinda shameful, but that's me...

It is a bit whack, but Axl's always been the litigious type so it's really not that surprising...

I'm trying to convince someone to wear my nu-gnr shirt to the show, I want to see how it is before they get beat up.

They probably wouldn't be but I can guarantee no one would be picked out of the crowd and booted out of the show for it.

I say wear an old GnR shirt a new GnR shirt or a shirt with a Big ol picture of Axl's face. No one will care, do what makes you happy.

I'm wearing my GNR yellow star T-shirt to the NYC show tonight.

Out of curiosity, has anyone opened for VR on this tour, or is it just them?
