Title: is West Arkeen's band The Outpatience good?
Post by: sergejg on September 23, 2004, 02:36:18 AM
I just heard that all original gunners (minus Steven) get reunited in West Arkeens album. But I also heard that its very acoustic (nothing like Arkeen's "its so easy" for example) I was just wondering if anybody could tell me if the album is any good before going on a quest to get some songs.

I only know one song from that album, Anxious Disease with Axl N' Slash. It's mostly acoustic with some electric guitars. Quite great song, if I see the record in a store, I will buy it.  : ok:

Hey this is weird, I just checked in a b-sides and rare tracks mp3 bootleg and it has a song called "Anxious Disease (Alice Cooper with Axl)". I think whoever got that song was mistaken and its actually the West Arkeen's song not Cooper.

The song Im talking about starts with some some acoustic guitars and a "aaaahhhhh" then says something like "In my head outside my bedroom window, the solitude the dark......" and the verse goes on and the chorus has some heavy guitars and says something like "I got for free like an anxiouse disease, Im not at home mama ...... street" (I can't quite understand most of the lyrics but it sounds something like that).

If it is im impressed cause I thought that song was from the late 80's early 90's, the sound is very retro, its an awesome song.
