Title: Re: PRETTY BOY FLOYD Post by: boston on May 09, 2005, 04:39:56 PM pretty boy floyd, made one cd, at the very tail end of the hollywood era, the singer has been making records with various musicians under the name p.b.f. for the last 5 years, i think about a dozen different independent releases. 3 different friends i knew from the hollywood scene, have all been in P.B.F. at different times now,kind of a revolving door band/ if you want to hear the real PBF, try to find the out of print cd "leather boys with electric toys", if you cant your best bet includes imitations created by them, the first in the string of independent releases includes "porn stars", about half of the old songs recorded by a band that at the time still had 3 original memebers, lately i have seen a newer cd's called "leather boys....", probably re-recordings, and, countless greatest hits and collections that probably center on this "one CD,- time period" probably re-recordings also, since the major label owns the rights to the original release.................the ballad your thinkin of is probably "i wanna be with you", look up perris records on the net for newer releases, and goto this link-- myspace.com/prettyboyfloyd (http://myspace.com/prettyboyfloyd)--they have a page that includes a couple old songs
