Title: National ID Cards? Post by: Queen of Everything on September 04, 2005, 04:04:40 AM Should everyone have to Carry A National ID Card?? Do you think it is a good idea?? I have to study this topic for an assignment and I believe that they would be a benifit to society, wtih all information easily to access. But that is just MY opinion.

But if it's nothing more than a standardized driver's license for every state, I don't mind. I can live with it as long as it remains a driving "privilege" thing and I'm not required to carry it.

Good idea/bad? well with europe, now that you don't need a passport, it's cool. you just use that card to travel. but im waiting for the new kind of id card (with biological, digital) information on it. and then the big step will be that your fingers, blood, or anything will be your id card police pulls you off, you put your finger in a little machine, and hop !, they know who you are .... yay ! science fiction !!! " the governement can listen to my phone calls and watch me naked in the shower i dont give a f*ck :) i mean come on, you dont anything wrong, you dont care if people watch you they can trace me with gps and watch my position i dont care they can block me at the airport and ask me tons of questions i dont care (actually i wish they did, i never get blocked ... im going to the us on october 3rd, i'll look as terrorist as i can ;) ) ... so bio metric cards and security booths are cool.
