No, no Marshalls, Bogners or Fenders. I'm talking about a relatively unknown combo amp called Traynor YCV50 Blue. Check out the samples below (not me playing). An all tube amp for just $600, new. Hopefully I'll be getting this soon...  :peace:

Sounds nice. Have you played it yet??? Don't buy it unless you can play it first, it mightn't sound anything like that? :hihi:

No. I'll have to order it first, before I can play it. IMO it's the cheapest quality tube amp that i've come across. I think the nearest Marshall amp is the DSL201, but that's > $800.  :P

Hey dude, you should also consider, & hear me out here, the Crate Palomino 32. It's made by Crate exclusively for Guitar Center, & it is a KILLER class A all tube 32 watt, 1 12" amp. It has a clean & overdrive channel, comes with a footswitch, & sounds & looks like a boutique amp costing 2 to 3 times more. I picked one up at GC for $550.00 new, I think they regularly go for $600.00, & I couldn't be happier - loud, pristine, glassy cleans to gritty blues crunch to singing sustained cranked lead tones. I've gigged with this amp a few times now, & I've gotten compliments from other guitarists about my tone. When i tell them it's a Crate, they're shocked. Check out the users reviews at harmonycentral.com, they're almost universally excellent across the board. One thing not many people know is that Crate is owned by St. Louis Music Company - the same company that makes Ampeg amps.

Here's the link to harmonycentral:

and no, I don't work for Crate. I just really love this amp.
