Title: Buckethead & Guns n'Roses
Post by: shaun on November 23, 2005, 04:36:46 AM
It's really kinda weird. On the bucketheadland site all messages have to go though a moderator. Some messages are posted, some messages are not posted, while other messages are edited.

There's this thread: [on the Bucketboard]
ENGLAND TOUR!

Amia writes:
Blummin' well play England. Why do good people never tour England. It's rub a dub dub.

I submit the message:
It would be good to see Buckethead doing his own show here in the UK.
C'mon BH come to London :)

Lucky me has seen him though, back in 2002 London Docklands Arena when he appeared with Guns n'Roses

?

Seems that Buckethead wants no connection with Guns n'Roses and really has burnt his bridges.

/wonders if Buckethead's input into CD as been removed for good never to see the light-of-day  :(

Funny thing I recognized is that while on his website he is trying to block every GN'R mention, on the cover of his new album Kaleidoscalp it reads that he is a GN'R veteran.  :hihi:

I don't think that's so bad, after all he did play with GN'R. All ex-gunners use the name on their albums. But, the key phrase here is 'trying to sell records...'.  :hihi:

Pepe, If so, he'd welcome nice mention of GNR on the bucketheadland board as well.

Funny, there's still a Buckethead/GNR (http://www.bucketheadland.com/BoardBucketList.asp?brd=2) discussion area on the Bucketboard, though it's not linked in any way from the main area.

"Only messages that are related to Guns n? Roses will be posted here. For Buckethead and Bucketheadland topic messages, please click here (http://www.bucketheadland.com/BoardBucketList.asp?brd=1)."

No messages there, BTW...

:o Oh my god, sic, it's still there?

They deleted all the Messages but are keeping the board! Why is that?
