No ,they can't Their is also going to be a "RoboCop" remake too.

though 21 Jump Steet is just a show being turned into a mobie .Unless they are remake the show.

The Evil Dead one is blasphemy.

Police Academy isn't much of a remake since the cast so far is;

Leslie Easterbrook as  Debbie Callahan
Steve Guttenberg as  Carey Mahoney
Marion Ramsey as  Laverne Hooks
Bubba Smith as  Moses Hightower
Michael Winslow as  Larvell Jones

Those 5 were in most of the others anyway, speaking of the film series, they should of stopped at one, by seven i thought they had and now over ten years later there back and probably worse than ever ::)

The Evil Dead as there calling the remake, ooo they added a 'The' really annoys the hell out of me.  The trilogy is awesome and like many for years i have longed for a 4th with the magnificent Bruce Campbell a true legend, but rumours point to Seann William Scott.  This sucks, why remake it, just do a 4th with Bruce!

Seann William Scott isn't that bad of a choice better then Ashton Kutcher.

Though i don't want the remake to happen if some one is going to play the ash role then it should be Ryan Reynolds.thugh their has been a romuor that Ash isn't in the remake.

Those movies were bad enough the first time around. Except for Evil dead. But it will most liley suck as I hate Ashton Kuster. Talentless prick.

The Omen also is gonna be remake, this has one thing in common, lack of creativity.

Well if you like the majority of the series i'm guessing this will be fair decent.  They've managed to get Steve Guttenberg back who ducked out after the 4th, and by that point he was essentially the lead name, and since it's not straight to video (least i think it isn't....you never know).  Shame Tackleberry can't come back :(

they've not run out of ideas. its dangerous to release a completly original idea - chances are it will be a commercial success. its very easy to simply remake an old film as it saves on original costs and is more certain to be a hit.

same as the music industry. why take the chance to do something new and different that fails to be a commercial success 99/100 when you can just take 5 pretty boys and give them gushy shite to sing.

It's kinda a secret atm, but i want it to get published. it's a cross over between Japanese story of Isanami no mikoto and Isanagi no mikoto and the creation of Japan. the story is like a cross over between Jason and the golden fleece (a greek myth), and the story of Musa (Quranic version). it sounds kinda odd but believe me, its great i promise. lets hope when i get time to give it to publishers they'll love it. Its an idea for a book or a movie

Its also dangerous to keep remaking and remaking and sequaling old movies!  They did like Lion King about 4 times?!  and Stewart Little three?!  I didnt even know there was one until about 4 days ago!?  And dont think I'm going to waste my time watching it.

Seriously though - We need something new!!!  :'(

Now would definetaly be the time to make a "Naked Gun"-esque comedy called "The Remake".  I'm serious, that's a pretty good idea, no?
