Title: Question about burning Flac files
Post by: whiteshark on April 11, 2006, 02:13:17 PM
Hi!

I have the Nero pluggin and when i'm going to burn the flac files into a Cd i do this:

1) Click in Nero Start Smart
2) Click in Create Audio CD
3) Click Add files
4) View files with .flac extension
5) Add
6) Burn!

Ok, when i'm going to browse the files in my new CD with Windows Explorer I can see Track 1, Track 2,... files. Where are the .flac files? Have I done anything wrong? Have I lost audio quality? Is there any other way to burn flac files?
Thanks and excuse my english

you're burning AudioCD therefore the sound is in AudioCD format - what else do you expect?

if you want FLAC files, you have to burn them as DataCD. you don't loose any audio quality anyway, because FLAC is lossless format.
