Title: Question about concert tix Post by: D on May 25, 2006, 03:18:39 AM I ordered 2 RHCP tickets and They hadnt arrived and i was worried and then I remembered that on Ticketmaster my Mom's address is the one on file.
I called her, and she thought it was junk mail so she ripped the envelope up!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow the tickets fell out and she realized what she had done. The part the ushers take at the concert is in tact and fine but the stub is tore in half which she taped back together. Do u think I will be ok to get in the concert? If not what should I do? Title: Re: Question about concert tix Post by: pasnow on May 25, 2006, 09:54:23 AM I'd call Ticketmaster and explain what happened. Just say you haven't recv'd them yet & apologize but they probably have your Mom's address. I probably wouldn't say you got them & she ripped them up because they'd probably tack on an addt'l fee. They will need to verify your CC # but I'm sure they can work something out for you.
Title: Re: Question about concert tix Post by: Kujo on May 25, 2006, 10:01:04 AM Just call them and tell them they were never received. They will make you wait to see if they eventually show up, but when they dont arrive they will leave replacements for you at will call.
I've had that happen. It causes a bit of stress the day of the event but it all works out. In the meantime you might want to report your mom to the feds. Tampering with someones mail is a federal offense. Title: Re: Question about concert tix Post by: badapple81 on May 25, 2006, 10:06:38 AM Just call them and tell them they were never received. Not sure how it works there, but over here you scan a barcode to go through the gate. If that's the case they should be able to reprint the ticket because only one person can use each barcode. If you choose to have the tickets mailed, they will make you wait until the day of the event to see if they show. If they dont they will leave replacement tickets at will call and cancel your originals. It costs an extra $2.50 stateside but I always use ticketfast when its available. Within 10 minutes you usually have your tickets e-mailed to you. Title: Re: Question about concert tix Post by: D on May 25, 2006, 06:37:53 PM So u guys dont think the tickets I have will work?
The part the usher takes is fine and still on the end of the ticket. The middle part from the band name over is what was ripped in half but its been carefully taped back together. Or call them to double check it will be ok? Doesn't hurt to confirm so you can go to the show that day knowing it's all cool. |
