Title: List of 2006 Bootlegs
Post by: Fusion on June 10, 2006, 05:09:43 PM
Okay, this thread is being created in order to keep track of the best versions of each  of the new shows.  I am seriously starting to lose track of what I want to download because with each show comes various bootlegs and I start to mix them all up.

I don't intend to put any links in this thread, only to list the shows in order and what version is best for that show.  It'll help me keep track of things and hopefully some of you guys too.  It's meant to look at to determine if you'd want a show for that day, and then you can find/ask for it yourself.

Mods feel free to edit my post if you want to update or correct something (and there could definitely be some errors), assuming the thread doesn't simply die from disinterest.  Or just post and I will make the update myself. I am only looking at full shows, or near full shows.  Shows with a few individual songs I am not tracking.

And people, let me know if you think you will find this useful.

Having said that, here goes:

I don't do torrents (am looking into it though).  So I might not be up on a lot of the info some of you guys are.  I have updated the entry for the May 15th video.  Will do the same for Rio if it become apparent that the torrent you mentioned is better.

uzisuicide2002, I don't know if Rock AM is proshot.  I read a post here (by Brownstone I think), who said video is coming.

There are DVD sets for all 4 NYC shows and each show is 2 DVDs.? Currently the 12th and 17th are being torrented on dime and the 14th is on mininova.? I don't think the 15th is torrented yet.?

Also they are currently being uploaded to newsgroups in the 2 set DVD versions and the 17th is posted in the group alt.binaries.x and the uploader promises to upload all 4 shows there as I have read on another forum.? Everyone who has DVDs of the NYC shows has the same versions so no matter where you get them from you will be getting the same thing.? Hope that helps a bit!

As for the quality, they are audience shot and shaky at times but it all depends who you ask.

i talked to the guy who recorded it.
He told me he has about 93 mins of the show, so it's incomplete.
He's busy right now, but he's working on it, and trying to sync it with the audio recording.

Don't know.  This news was posted by BTD on the first page of this thread.  That's the only thing I'm going on.

Should I change it to DVD in limited circulation?
