Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Photoshopping the iTunes store showing chinese democracy, making fake flyers saying that there will be an autograph signing, saying that you work at a music store and there will be a surprise release of CD. 

Do people get off on getting people's hopes up?  Especially now when we are supposedly so close to having this album in our hands, stupid fuckers make shit up to get us all excited. 

There needs to be a stop to this.  And it's not just recently.  It's been like this since I joined these boards.  Please, I ask you guys that like to toy with people's emotions, just stop.

People are just bored. I blame the hype and obsession with celebrity that has engulfed the civilsed world.

When a large proportion of Brits and Americans get most of their news from celebrities the world is in a state.

It sucks ass when things arent even rumors... people make the shit up. ?Ive been around long enough to know when things are real though. ? As of now the only thing I have on my GnR calendar is that there is a tour and the new album will be out this year. ?anything else is a figment of someones imagination.

Well, I would argue to find just ONE person on here who hasn't opened one of these threads. 

We really are vulnerable at this point, so hungry for information.  I seriously think sometimes by reading some of the responses in the threads that some GNR fan is going to go postal before we see the release of CD. :nervous:

Actually as far as I can see many HTGTH veterans don't put their trust in anything anymore. even now they dwell in the jungle and rarely come out to this section. they must have refused to believe "the rumour" that GNR is touring and all the fan reviews and pics. sad but true. :yes:

Any other sources are, unless confirmed by the above people, most likely bogus.
