Title: A guy stabbing his internet acquintance was convicted on monday Post by: Sin Cut on December 12, 2006, 04:10:58 AM 24-years old Rami Jarakivi was convicted on monday at Tampere town court of a murder of first degree for 10 years and six months in prison.
By town court Rami Jarakivi attempted a murder on a 19-year old woman, who he had met on a internet forum. The woman was heavily handicapped, when Jarakivi stabbed her with a kitchen knife. The victim lost her sight and was paralyzed. Jarakivi's motive was revenge. The man and woman met at the internet had met twice at late summer of 2005, and he was imagining that they were seeing each other. The woman, however, had other men she was seeing as well at where she was from. When the man found out, he decided to take revenge. The man persuaded the woman to meet him one final time and took a kitchen knife to their meeting, which he used to stab the woman in the back.
