Post by: nightrain_jh on December 29, 2006, 09:30:29 AM
New British group, influenced by the likes of GN'R and Aerosmith.? Great sound and Seb Bach has been quoted as saying the lead singer has "one mother-fucking voice" and Kerrang have even called them a "musical suck job".  Debut album "Magic Man" was released in October.

I think the singer sounds VERY similar to Bon...though I don't know if by "balls missing" you mean to imply that his voice is higher or that it lacks attitude.

I think he meant that his voice just lacks power, I kind of agree with him..

But on the live versions he sounds ok, have you heard "hangover blues" ?

well if the lead singer ever reads this i am sure he wouldn't at all mind being mentioned in the same breath as the late and great bon scott.  even if it is the "balls missing" comment.

i think they're great and i can't wait to see them again at the carleton in morecambe. :headbanger:

Yeah, I found a few of their tracks and thought it was pretty good stuff.  I do agree that the live cut was better...more raw sound, I think.

They are excellent live.  They supported my band last year and they have a real good energy on stage.  I think we're playing with them again in late February.  The rock press seem to lopve them, so they should have a very good 2007.
