Anyone here ever had anything patented, or know someone who has?  Where the hell can I get some good info on this?

Yeah I'm trying, but it didn't go through funding since someone had made a product that was used in similar way, altho it lacked some of the points mine had and also the way it worked was completely different.

In my application I made drawings of it and  wrote a review on how it works. I laso had a prototype built, but now I just need to rephrase what I wrote and  find some spin on how my product is something else.

I've always thought your wallet & keys etc. should have something you can make go Beep! when you're looking for them, something you can add to them. I know I always keep loosing them. Is there such a thing invented?

I always thought you could get a patent to improve a product though.  Did your product fall in that category?

Are they doing really well financially from that?  or is it kinda low key

^not sure...we[they] bought it when the guy had it for sale. So...all in all, I'm not so sure. But we've got other businesses so we're pretty good.
