Post by: Where is Hassan Nasrallah ? on August 25, 2007, 04:29:59 AM
2 sites launched this week in france regarding the music industry dilema (global licence).
1 is dedicated to the subscribers of a particular internet provide (9tel), where you haev the right to download all the music you want (based on a certain catalog) as you pay you monthly fee for internet connection.

the other one, deezer, is just free for everybody. and the site gives (from advertisement) money back to the french riaa.

http://www.deezer.com/

all legal.

Wow that deezer one kicks ass!? :peace:, I'm really liking the smart playlist feature...

*edit: by the way do I have to click the ads for them to make any money out of it?

Not sure, but I'd assume they get paid no matter what, but might get extra when it's clicked on...
