Title: Atlas Shrugged
Post by: wight gunner on April 18, 2011, 03:06:30 PM
It seems the film Atlas Shrugged is in more than one part  :smoking:, http://www.boxofficemojo.com/news/?id=3143&p=.htm So the question has to be, will this finally see the song of the same name finally get an airing in part two....

Erm....are they connected ?...besides the name ? As in....Catcher in the rye was alllegedly (??, wrong but ok ?) based on a feeling by someone while reading that book or so.....just wanting to say...there hardly was a connection but be my guest to explain me more when needed

EDIT : it might take a while before we can listen to new music....so...meanwhile...do yourself and the world a big favour...go read Atlas shrugged !
..... get an airing part in part two ? .....could be even worse.... It's gonna be a trilogy  :peace:

Hey Axl, is the song Atlas Shrugged as epic as the book? Who is your favorite character from the book?

"Song doesn?t have all that much to do with the book other than trying to do what you believe in and a line about shoulders not being wide enough."

It definitely sounds like a ballad, so we're in store for a cd like Chinese Democracy in my opinion. Same type of music!

If that's good or bad, its up to you to judge it when u hear it  :hihi:

Axl has never hid the fact that the next potential GN'R album is going to be along the same lines of Chinese Democracy. In fact most of the material that will appear on the album, most probably was written around 1999-2005.

And if I was to take a wild guess, I'd probably say that Atlas Shrugged will sound alot like If The World, or at least have the same vibe.  :)

C'mon people. It's impossible to know how a song will sound like just by its name. You can guess but that's it!

I did actually state that I was taking a wild guess, I think it's obvious that you can't tell for sure how a song will sound, by just it's name.  :P
