Axl sounded solid throughout. Seems to struggle most on Chinese Democ songs in my opinion, but not Madagascar. Not a huge fan of that song, but thought it sounded great. Not a TIL fan either, but liked how they made it a bit more heavy. Sounded good. Thought he nailed Estranged. Definitely one of the highlights, along with My Michelle, Patience, Black Hole Sun, Wichita Lineman, Seeker and the Wish You Were Here jam. Pretty kickass all around. Tough for any other band to compete with a setlist that includes Estranged, Coma, YCMB, Rocket Queen etc. Fucking Ridiculous. The guy next to me was drunk and sang every song so you hear him better than the band for most of it, and 2. I forgot to set my phone to 4k video so the zoom was super grainy.
Over all amazing show. I am noticing that a lot of the CD songs seem to be getting a better reaction the second time though the US with this lineup. |
