There was one show in the early days where Axl didn't show up, so the band played anyway. Izzy and Duff handled the singing.

I'm think the show starts at 9.  They are in the same time zone as me.

I had all kinds of stuff scheduled for today.  Clicked them off with in minutes of when they were to happen.  I didn't have to be exactly on time but that was pretty damn close to fucking perfect!  I'm going to cool down, throw some laundry in and get ready to hunt for streams.  Tonight's snack or rather dinner is leftover chili and apple pie from the party.  I always make twice as much food as I need, not perfect but I am consistent.   :hihi:

He always switches mics to throw a cheaper one into the crowd. I guess he nearly forgot and it had to be run out to him.

I thought maybe it was some kind of sanitary thing although he sang into it afterwards.  Or maybe one that wasn't as sturdy so if it hit somebody it wouldn't hurt them.

The link isn't working for me but when they came to Atlanta to open for Motley Crue, Axl actually sang a song or two but then got hauled out by security. I wasn't there but a guy I went to high school with was. Is that what they refer to?

You should really try to get that link working. That site has an amazing amount of details of the early days.

It was one of the best shows I've seen in my life, fuckin' amazin! plus I was lucky to meet Jarmo, we happened to be sharing the same hotel. Very nice and kind person!
