However I don't like their looks AT ALL... But the look that you speak of is not "true" GnR. This is the new band, with only 2 members from the good days (and that is stretching it with Dizzy). The "goth guy" and the "white mask" guy are not original members, and in my opinion do not belong in the band. Go buy the two Use Your Illusion DVD's. See Slash and Duff, and Axl when he didn't look like the Predator and Elvis' love child. That's how they used to look.
