anyways, we weren't talking about the Chilis, we were talking about John Frusciante and his solo albums, which are not even remotely similar to the Peppers. (ps, what a great reason to not like their MUSIC...) Im listening to RHCP's Freaky Styley album now from 1985 (when John was only 15) with Hillel Slovak on guitar, and it kicks damn ass! John started playing guitar for the Peppers when he was 18, after Hillel died. his main influences around that time was Hillel and Slash, so you see where he gets his funky rhythm and amazing solos from : ok: btw, he also owes RHCP the greatest gratitude, without them he would probably have been dead now.. :'( |
