Yeah, it always happens in the evening / night (European time). Weird.....

I can say I have no problem entering the site's front page, once I click message board that's when I watch it slowly load..  I've always noticed yabb boards to be slower, and invision to be faster ,might have to switch servers..?

Or maybe it's our rivals mygnr.com ;D

trying to say they are playing with the power dial or are they kicking the antena? :hihi:

I put back the old search script from Beta 5, wonder if this will help.....

I don't know how it usually is at this time by you, but right now it's moving very fast, usually even when it's pretty good it can be slow in spots...

For me during the day (CST) it's almost impossible to get to the board (no response or very slow). At night it's fine.

It usually happens after 7pm my time.

Sometimes I can't acess in the morning too .... and answering a thread become really difficult...  :-\

I temporary set up the board so that guests can't view the board to try to keep the traffic down.

Seems like the database can't handle all the traffic at the moment. That's my guess and it's gonna be looked into next week.

I hope it gets fixed.

I wouldn't have a "members only" board if I didn't have to. I don't like boards that make you register just to read my self.....

i know its probably a coincidence but i cant ever open the "what are you listening to right now" thread


its weird, its like every other thread works slowly but surely but that one never opens.

I've had that problem too with a few threads, but only on Netscape. When I switched to IE, it worked. 

Still it?s often very slow. Like now?And down. Strange go. :-\

I started to suspect there might be some conspiracy against this board going on. Such as kinds of gangs opposed to the musical revolution half jokingly half seriously.

It's a database thing.

When certain things happen, the server becomes slow which makes the board slow.

It's like one big traffic jam.

it's very slow sometimes still, it can take 1min to load a page on the board

When you hit reply it takes forever.. Browsing the threads aren't to bad, it's just waiting for the reply to finish..

I'm aware of the fact that it's slow.

It's frustrating since I can't do anything about it.

It's either a slow board or no board at all, at the moment. I have thought of closing it down a few times.

Don't close it down. I'm sure there is a way you can make it faster like a different server or something like that.

No I haven't because I want the server people to try to fix some things first before I even start installing a new board.

Getting a new board is the last option.
