Out of the new tracks, my favourite is Madagascar closely followed by Rhiad and the Bedoiuns

Overall however, I'd have to say that You Could Be Mine is my favourite.

I don't know it's too hard, all AFD is amazing and Nice Boys is the most underated song ever. I also love you Could Be Mine! I DONT KNOW! I'm going to say Paradise City because that is the song that got me to really "notice" Guns n' Roses.

Oh and by the new band I'd go with Chinese Democracy!

I know all the Guns records inside-out, and I appreciate the songs that didn't make it to radio or MTV, like It's So Easy, Estranged, Coma, Rocket Queen, Locomotive, and One In a Million (which I think is their best song, but not my favorite). And I also love underdogs like The Garden, Breakdown and Don't Damn Me. There's something good in just about every song they recorded. But for me it's still Sweet Child O' Mine. Yeah it's popular, but it has a ton of soul, it's soft and hard at the same time, and Slash's intro takes your breath away every time; it's got to be THEE all-time opening guitar riff in rock history. And the coolest thing for me is, each member shines somewhere in it, and they all shine throughout. I've never once been anything less than thrilled when I hear it.

Well i've struggled between Rocket queen and Think about you for years and years. I think "think about you" is the most underated gnr tune ever.

Estranged of course follows those, as well as coma. But there isn't one GNR tune I don't like, even my world is cool

 Never gets old... still the best of all time.  Even so, i never really listen to it very much since i move on of course to other songs which i like the most.  But if i had to be an unbiased judge.... welcome tot he jungle wins by a long shot

I love this band's work so much the question hurts my brain.  [crying] And I completely agree with those who say they can't pick one, or those that have favorites for different moods. Since I'm a pretty miserable person, Estranged and Coma tie for the mood I'm in most of my adult life. However, my choice for favorite G N' R song is...

DON'T DAMN ME

Starts with a classic Slash riff, great emotional/ranty lyrics showing Axl's range, awesome bridge, and really one of the few Illusions-era songs that still had that Appetite-punch.

It has the feeling of one of the last true songs made by a band rather than a group of individuals who had grown sick of each other--not Axl controlled, Slash dominated, or Izzy sabotaged.

ATM it has to be YCBM.. I'm lsitening to it right now live from Wembley, London '91... Axls intro for it at that song was cool:

Best song ever Double talkin' jive, when i first heard this song I didn't know shit about english and that song made me pissed off so its the best because it express musicaly what its written, also the guitar at the end!! bravo bravisimo!!

To me would be like Welcome to the jungle, iits like a rock n roll anthem!!, its a GUsn N Roses biography in a song , thats kind of cool. Never have seen a band doing that so that really rocks!

Well this is tough, the majority of my favorite are on AFD but I do enjoy the UYI albums too.
I guess i gotta pick a top 5

1. Welcome to the Jungle - I know im not picking a non single or something, but lets face it...this song kicks ass! It's a song that can get the adrenaline flowing within 30 seconds of the start.
2. Paradise City- Again, popular song. But this is a song you can party to! And the end is fucking insane, and i love every minute of it. That fast as hell solo just kicks ass, no doubt about it.
3. Rocket Queen- I love the beginning, but i REALLY love the end. It's rock n roll with a touch of power ballad, and the melody is just really great.
4. Sweet Child O' Mine - Great power ballad. No need to really explain here. The end part just fucking rocks, too. I love how some of the GNR songs turn into completely different songs at the end.
5. I would say Mr Brownstone but ill give UYI some credit and say ...Don't Cry. its a great ballad with an awesome sound. I like both versions, however im a little partial to the alternate lyrics. Mainly for the "i thought i could live in your world" part. It sounds great, like the rest of the song.

Those probably arent even my 5 favorite, as its hard to have even 5 favorites as a GNR fan. I love it all, even my world!

Yeah, Coma is in my opinion together with Estranged one the greatest Guns song ever. A few days ago I was in a pretty bad mood, had a shitty day and I then I just drove around in my car alone at about 4 am listening to Coma with the volume up to the maximum.

Got to say it...my new favorite is Madagascar currently (Still all over the cleveland soundboard). That might change tomorrow though.

Estranged.  The song is incredible.  I mean the lyrics are just genious and Slashs second to last solo is my favorite GnR solo ever.  Estranged is part of my favorite album of all time and its my favorite music video of all time.

Sweet Child has to be up there for me, was first song i heard from GnR. But currently my favourite would have to be Coma, such a strong riff with so much variation, this song has so many highs and lows all in there. Love it!

"Sweet Child O' Mine" is not just my favourite Guns N' Roses song, it's my favourite song.  It's one of the few that doesn't lose its lustre over time.  Now, it still packs as much of a punch as it ever has, from Slash's siren guitar riffs to Axl's crooning wails.  And I don't usually notice basslines in songs, but I notice Duff's here.  Hell, all the bandmembers are in fine form here.  This song reveals Guns N' Roses pop sense and the songwriting smarts that forever set them apart from the cheesy throwaway metal bands of their era.

But the beauty about GNR is that all their songs are great.  They have a song for every mood.  By the way, I think that "Back Off Bitch" is WAY underrated.  It's one of the best songs on the Use Your Illusion albums.  8)

As I said as the new fiona apple earlier, it changes pretty much all the time. Now it's coma.

I think their best song is Sweet Child O' Mine. Actually, it's the best song EVER, and it's the song that (after hearing it once on the radio) made me stop and buy AFD and Lies. Though my favorites change, this one always is number one.

Another favorite of mine is November Rain. There's no denying that this is one of the greatest rock ballads ever. This song and Sweet Child are two songs that I can really relate to at this point in my life.

Having said that, the song of the moment is You're Crazy (AFD version) - and Estranged, Rocket Queen and Nightrain. I can't choose just one, and I've left so many out because I like them all.  ;D

I love all of the Gn'R songs, my personal favourite has to be "Coma". I never used to like it, but its an awesome song, its got the beat to it that gets you going, awesome lyrics [a little on the angry/dressing side].  The song starts off with the heart beat, everything goes into play and its a head bopper, lol.  But just like "you could be mine" i love the ending cuz Axle just goes all out.  This song is when inside my house feeling miserable, "The Garden" & "Don't damn me" gets me goin.  "Dust in the wind" is an awesome song, and no matter how many times anyone says "My world" is crap, all anyone has to remember is that there is no "Crappy" Gn'R songs, some song are just better than the other.

dont cry, because no matter how much of a shitty mood im in, it almost always makes me feel sumwhat better. the video kinda too, like, seeing axl kill himself makes me sad, but then i think and realize my life aint so bad afterall

coma, just because the lyrics are so meanigful, i mean it is so well written, about depression, then anger, it is just awesome

1.  Coma - because it is the best song ever produced.  (My opinion, of course) Why?  Because: It completely rocks.  Musically, it can stand up to any other song out there, and surpass most of them.  It has an intense sound.  The lyrics are profound, and Axl handles the vocals with the passion the music and the lyrics deserve.  It's a song that I can listen to over and over again, and get goosebumps every time I hear it. 
2.  Rocket Queen - because it has an awesome sound, it is one of their very best sounding songs live.  It has a very sexy groove to it. 
3.  Pretty Tied Up - Again, I love the sound of this song.  Very sexy groove.  I love Axl's voice in this song.  I love the layers to the vocal tracks.  I think that this song reveals a lot of Axl's amazing vocal talent.   :drool:

I also have a new favorite to add to the list, because I finally managed to get it downloaded. 

Chinese Democracy - I have been playing this song over and over again since I downloaded it.  I have heard many people comment that Axl's voice sucks live, but in the particular recording that I downloaded, this song, he is awesome vocally.  I love the beat to this song.  Soooooo cool.   : ok:

Dont Cry- Unbelievably moving track, and really is intense, U can feel it as u listen

November Rain- The Ideal epic ballad, but not lame and corny like those ballads that were around in the eighties that were nothing more than marketing ploys to sell records, not only is this one of the greatest rock ballads of all time (If not the greatest) u can feel that it came from his heart.

Nightrain- Again js blatantly showing how bad ass and dangerous GnR really is

Etranged- Cant really explain why, it js sets a mood for me.

You Could be Mine- Probably my favorite GnR track of all, goes with one of my favorite movies of all time and is js a killer fucking track from begginning to end

Civil War-  js a real good political track. Which is something GnR doesnt delve into very often

Paradise City is my favorite GN'R tune.  I always hate saying that though, cause its one of their more well known songs.  Does anybody else feel that way?  I love that song so much, but its gotten so much exposure over the years that its almost kinda poserish to say its your favorite GN'R song.  Its the truth though, its my fav.

Rob, interesting that you mention 'Aint it Fun' as your favorite TSI tune. Ever since the day the album was released, I wondered why they didnt release it as a single/video. Where I'm at, that song got major airplay for about a week. Alot of people were digging that song. I remember some of my friends saying,"Hey, I love their new sound!" They didnt even know it was a cover album.LOL!! Another song from TSI that got alot of airplay in the first weeks of release was Hair of the Dog. I guess when the radio stations realized that the band wasn't gonna do anything with this record, they stopped playing songs from it and people quickly forgot about it. Till the day I die, I will never understand why this album was released as a real album. It should have been a bonus disc to Illusions. It was supposed to be a "punk cover EP", not a full length cover album. TSI is also the most shittily promoted album by a mainstream band in music history.

I think Ain't It Fun is a very powerful tune.  Its a very dark song and the band nails it perfectly.  Its also very cool to hear Michael Monroe singing with Axl.  Hanoi Rocks rock!

I feel that way as well. November Rain for me. I wish I could say that WTTJ is my favorite GNR tune, but still after almost 2 years I'm getting goosebumps when hearing November Rain.

 That's interesting you should mention that.  Sweet Child's opening riff always elicits a wonderful wide-eyed response from my 2 1/2 year old boy.  His favorite song to dance to between 18 and 24 months was Night Train...the Rio version.  I've got the video file, and he loved the colors, the dancing, etc.  Now that his language skills are much more advanced, I can't play the songs with questionable lyrics.  Just trying to be a good dad.   : ok:

As far as the harder stuff goes, Oh My God just rules - There's some ferocious stuff going on in that song, and Axl's voice is killer.

Reading some of the above posts about really little kids who love GnR is funny for me, because when AFD came out, my son was 2-1/2 yrs old to 3 yrs old.  I would never listen to it when he was around because of the "content".

well, i don't know about all the rest of u GNR fans out there, but i personally can't just chose ONE song. u kidding me? 99% of their stuff is badass and it is hard as hell to pick only one track. if i must however, i would include nightrain, you could be mine, killing time...of course, it's not just those three. there's tons others which i'd consider my 'fave'.

Patience is too damn literal. It makes me sad it was a hit because most Guns songs are very clever with metaphors and wordplay, but Patience is very blunt and obvious.

i remember watching an early morning rock video show after coming home pissed from the pub with a girl friend. G n R were on with sweet child o mine video. i was amazed by this haunting melody. next day i told all my mates about it, they couldnt believe that me , a confirmed pistols ,clash, damned old skool punk would ever give time of day to a metal band. when they heard it they knew what i was talking about.
i still love it 2 this day, sometimes i used 2 sing it 2 my baby daughter,the  emotoinal power that song stokes up is immense.there have been many superb G n R songs , but this 1 will go down in history. cant wait 2 see them next month at newcastle arena.

November Rain - Absolutely beautiful.  I love the acoustic demo too, the emotion carried within that one is incredible.

Bad Obsession - I have no idea why I love this song so much lately, but I do.
You're Crazy (either version) - Gotta love Axl's voice in the GNR Lies version.
Coma - If I had to choose only one song, it'd be this one.  It's so dark and heavy, and it grips me every single time.

I've gotta go with the predictable "Sweet Child O' Mine"...its the first GnR song i ever heard and its the one that i can relate to some pretty cool memories.

my favourite track is without doubt "Welcome To The Jungle".  pretty much because it was the song that introduced me to the music of Guns N' Roses back when "Appetite..........." came out.  I bought the lp, took it home, through it on my now long gone record player and was instantly addicted to the band.  and still am.

Nightrain..................especially when played live.

The song that first intoduced me to the band,  "Welcome to the Jungle"  it was so dark and raw in an era of makeup and big hair.      As time has wore on Locomotive, Rocket Queen and Coma without a doubt my 3 favorites.   "better" has a chance once I get a studio cut to become one of if not the favorite for me.
