Yeah, all Halifax discussion is here now. Think of all the new tunes we could be hearing Nov. 20. The setlist should be changed up quite a bit by then. We may even get the album the next day, Nov. 21.

Maybe Axl will give out some free copies?  :hihi:

i like what buddy said in an eariler thread. he said somebody he knows works for a music store and they looked into getting guns to play a concert there the night before CD comes out, but they couldent because they were leaving to tour canada. the first date is Toronto on nov 15th so is it november 13th?

this seems realistic to me. i like the rumours that have some sort of origins and make sense. as opposed to that one idiot who said its coming out boxing day because the press release said "there are only 13 more tuesdays this year", he thought that ment the 13th tuesday will be the release.

at least this one makes sense.

For those of u that have seen a concert at the metro centre, how close is section 7 to the stage. ?Are we going to have to be looking at the screens to see the action or can we watch the stage without a problem. ?Looking at the seating map, i think we'll be pretty close.

Post by: daubs on September 29, 2006, 01:49:19 PM
seriously? section 7, your right on the stage. the only way would could get closer (excluding the floor) is if u take a guitar and try to join the band.

I bought my tix at the Windsor Superstore this morning right after 9.  There was a short line up then.  I got 2 GA tickets.  A friend of mine got his about 15 mins after and said the GA tickets were sold out, so he got Lower Bowl. My sister got hers about 20 mins ago and all she could get were Upper Bowl.  So, I'm guessing its gonna be sold out soon if not now.

If you're looking for GA, try http://purchase.tickets.com/buy/TicketPurchase?agency=TDC&pid=5859235

If you can't get any there, just go for the tickets that are left now on ticketatlantic.com. It's upper bowl, but it's better than nothing.

It looks like Halifax is going to be the first soldout show.  There appears to be only 2 upper level sections left to sell.

Title: Re: November 20 - Halifax, NS @ Halifax Metro Centre
Post by: daubs on September 30, 2006, 12:30:58 PM
seat 1 is closest to the stage on the side of section 7, so on the other side, seat 16 would be closest. if your standing in the section looking down at the floor, seat 1 is going to be on the right hand side.

Well, it's around 10,000 with all the seats, not counting the floor. But the seats behind the stage aren't being used, so there should be at least 10,000 people there.

depending on how many they squeeze in they can get a bit over 10 000. GNR has the most seast on the arena open that ive seen from any band thats played there.

Post by: J.J. Cook on October 02, 2006, 08:24:59 PM
^^ yeah exactly. Look at all the other bands seatin plans playing there. Some only have half the arena while guns N' Roses have more than anyone.

im going to the goo goo dolls the next night and they only play 1/2 the arena. and there are still seats left

i got lower bowl no problem.

^^ Yeah I know. I got two friends that have like front row tickets because they're only playing ot half the arena and because the tickets haven't sold. Man that's pretty bad...Personally not a big Goo Goo Dolls fan. All their songs seem to be pop ballads. Plus I can only skip so many days of school and I only have so much money.

im a huge goo goo dolls fan. their songs are defintally all written using the same formula but i like thme. its funny cuz gnr are my favourite band, goo goo dolls are my 2nd band, and they are playing back to back...crazy

ps. a weird combination, i know.

UPPER BOWL   $54.50

That's before they add the $6 fee to each ticket. Someone just made a mistake and posted the price at $69.50 when they first listed the concert without adding the fee in. It was always listed at the lower prices at the checkout site, with the fee added after you added the items.

yeah but im not losing a 300 dollar camera...

this is off topic, kind of, but i was thinknig about it last night. i live in halifax, and last year i lived with 9 guys. one of the guys is from St.Vincent (the carribean), and anyways i was talking about the song nightrain and the wine and how its bum wine but they dont have it up here and kwesi goes "yeah that stuff is terrible" and i almost exploded. turns out they have it there, they dont drink it but they use it to cook. so his mom brought me a bottle for christmas. so i loaded nightrain on my ipod, put it on repeat, and drank the bottle at a friends listening to nightrain over and over. when i was done i filled the bottle with fruit punch (red) and put it as the prize of my bottle collection...pretty cool unless they sell nightrain close to you.

None of the Canadian dates work properly through GNR's site. Credit card authorization results in an error everytime

Ticket Atlantic should have it listed as sold out, but they haven't done so yet.

Cool story, I'd do the same thing if I had my hands on a bottle of Nightrain. Pretend we're back in 80s living the rock lifestyle getting loaded on cheap wine. I'd love to have a bottle of that stuff in my collection. Apparently it is only $1.99 a bottle, no wonder they drank this stuff

Haha, I just went to the NSLC drive-thru with my brother and he asked for a bottle of Night Train

Of course we know they don't carry it but he did it for a laugh. Then when we got to the window to pay for the pint of rum, the guy said, "What's Night Train, bud?" We said it was a cheap wine and he asked if we were from around here lol. Maybe he thought we were fucking around with him. We should of had Nightrain playing as we were driving through.

You know, technically, Guns could add another show at the Metro Centre on the 22nd or 23rd if they wanted to...after the Goo Goo Dolls on the 21st, the Metro Centre is available until the 29th and Guns next show after Halifax is in Cleveland on the 24th...so if the boys felt ambitious, they could chill in Hali for a day and then play another show on the 22nd!!??!!??  I know, I'm dreaming at this point...but hey, why not!  : ok:

I talked to alot of people who were planning on seeing the show who either ended up with crappy seats and didn't bother getting them or just ended up with crappy seats and decided to suck it up!

I see that you can still get the floor and upper bowl now; and yeaterday you could get 19 in the lower bowl.
I'd like to know how many seats that actually have left, it seems it keeps changing.

"We are so excited to be going on tour with GUNS N' ROSES in the biggest rooms in North America for the next four months! I have waited for the perfect opportunity to tour North America again and GUNS N' ROSES is absolutely the greatest tour any of us could ever imagine being on. It has been over ten years since I have screamed in a lot of these places, and there are many shows on this tour I have dreamed of playing but never in my career have I actually played ... until now! Madison Square Garden, Air Canada Center, and The Palace of Auburn Hills are all just some of the dates on the tour that I have wanted to play for years and can't believe in 2006 I finally get to rock in these hallowed halls!!!

"So it is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that there are two shows that we unfortunately cannot play on the tour ? Puerto Rico and Halifax, both due to prior commitments. I am especially bummed out about missing the Halifax show because I have many friends there now due to my buds The Trailer Park Boys! I have never played Halifax before and was really looking forward to partying with Ricky, Bubbles and Julian and the rest of the cast and crew in their hometown! I hereby make it a commitment of mine to come back to Halifax and we would be there on the GNR tour but I have to shoot a TV show in L.A. that day. FUCK!!!! We will however be on every other show of the GNR tour!!! This is like a dream come true! Again!"

that sucks. i wonder who will open now...i wonder what velvet revolver is doing...

here's the plan, book velvet revolver. at the hotel kidnap weiland and kushner. Then kidnap everybody from gnr minus axl, then import izzy from wherever the fuck he is. i think it will work.

This sux ass....GNR better get 2 solid opening bands i hate having to sit threw trash before the main act.

That fucking pisses me off. I was massively psyched as I'm a huge Bach fan and would pay to see him alone. So now they need two good opening bands or I will be disappointed. They should fly Buckcherry up and get them to be one of the openers.

I think tonya is talking about this thread http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?showtopic=80165

Nothing seems to have come out of it though. We should just pick a bar or something and book it for so many hours before the show starts.

one thing we could do is book the propeller brewery. its just up the hill from the metro center. they have a room for you to drink in, its 15 bucks a person for 2 hours all you can drink. minimum 10 people. they have 4 types of beer on tap, they have tv there, cd player, you can order food in if you want. I went for my house party last year and it was awesome. we had a relally good time. It would only be us there (plus the brewery guys) so thats really the only difference between it and a bar. 1.all you can drink 2.its private. anyways just throwing that out there.

Daubs the Propeller Brewery sounds like a good plan. I have at least 6, possibly 8 people going with me, I'll double check with them this week.

It's funny you mentioned Propeller beer, I had forgotten all about it until I saw " The Trailer Park Boys" movie. They were drinking it while they were at the Strip club.

i emailed them asking how many people our maximum could be (because i know of at least 2 groups of 10+ going, so we would be looking at like 40-50 people i think). ill see what they say. it may just be best to go to a local bar. also i dont want to get too fucked up, i acually want to remember this concert haha.

Usually promotors hold a bunch of tickets to give away to media and what not, but if not used they'll be released to the public.  Some seats are also held back because of the potential for an obstructed view (by stage equipment and what not) and sometimes they'll get released if they later determine there are no obstructions.  Happens all the time.

I actually just stuck a couple seats on ebay that include a return limo trip from the South Shore (Chester).. or any point inbetween.
So if you or someone you know is looking to travel in style.. let me know.

Also, I used to really enjoy the Hip but as of late (including Moncton) Gordie gets lost from the songs and his continuous rembling grates on my last nerve. Play the songs and they will rock.. ramble and the suck. JMO

Be nice though if they did actually say who may be opening up.. but then again if it's nobody we may see Axl take to the stage before 3am....lol

Someone on MyGNR said the afterparty will be at Bubbles' Mansion. I didn't know Bubble's had his own bar now, pretty cool!? : ok: Did anyone else hear about the party being here?

It makes sense for the party to be there, since Bach has said Axl is a fan of the Trailer Park Boys. And maybe Sebastian will show up after all.

From what I've read online(I'm not from Halifax), it's right by the Metro Centre... 5287 Prince St. Upstairs from the Keg and close to the Ale House.

it says on the ticket atlantic site "no camera, audio or video recording equipment" so it looks like a disposable camera for me eh.
lol that won't stop anyone from taking a camera...it would be cool however if axl says: "Take that motherfucker's camera" haha

I just joined this site so I'm pretty late on my comments :P
But, I saw Motley Crue at the Metro Centre recently and they were really strict about not taking cameras in... My friend had his digital, and when we went in there was a HUGE pile of disposable cameras at the line up that had been confiscated, and a couple regular 35mm cams, but he took one guy aside and convinced him to let him take his cam in, b/c he said he couldn't afford losing it (too expensive) and that he didnt know the rules... buddy sa id just don't take it out... of course we did and snuck a couple pics, but one of the floor walkers (we were row 15 front of the stage) noticed and took it, and it was quite a process to get it back after the show... I wouldn't risk anything expensive, and they search everything really bad at the Metro, so I'd hide it like down your pants or something, lol, and make sure there's no metal on it b/c they use metal detectors :P
*Sorry for the long blurb!* :P
btw... my seats are 23, Row C, 1&2... any1 near me?

I love the trews, so I'm happy about that... Seen them a couple times, but no biggy... I'm also not so worried about Bach not making it... I saw Skid Row open for Kiss, and I'm fine with just seeing that one gig :P    I've never heard of the Die Mannequin before but they don't look like my cup of tea, and I'm not so excited about the Suicide Girls... But what the hell, at least we know we're gonna see one of the best bands ever and that's worth suffereing through anything! ?;)

they played the quad at dal. they set the stage up pretty much where the library parking lot ends, so we were all standing on the hill part of the quad looking down on the stage. it was a pretty good set up. they did the uni circut that year.

Oh, and As for the afterparty, one of my close friends is dating a guy who works at Bubble's mansion and is close friends with the Trailor Park Boys, who are ultimately close with GNR... or at least I suppose Axl & Mike... anyway, I'd been trying to keep updated on their plans for that night, and as of yesterday they hadn't decided whether they were going to open up the bar or just keep it small and VIP... but I did hear the afterparty announced as there this morning on Q104, so I'm thinking this is really good news! :) It would just suck to have a small VIP only after-party when 10'000 people are pumped about them coming to town..... I'm excited!!

If anybody has any more clarified ?info on the afterparty, fill me in, will ya?

that's awesome... I don't know where I was then! Not back in Halifax yet, I guess... would have like to have seen that, though!

So has anybody decided on drinking somewhere before the show?
A friend and I are having drinks at the Lord Nelson bar first, then either Maxwell's Plum or Alehouse I think... anything exciting going on?

a guy posted this in another thread here, he emailed q104 about the release and the reply said
"Q104 is having The Official After Party at Bubbles Mansion after The Guns Show at The Metro Center. Axl and his entourage will be showing up for this ..Bubbles is hosting it. ...so if you go you can ask Axl yourself."

anybody know if this is open to public or vip? also we should finalize some plans...alehouse before the show? and when?

that will be FUCKING CRAZY if we can go to bubbles mansion with axl. im also excited for the opening acts too. trews are great, i listened to some die mannequin and liked it...but i dont even really know what the sucide girls is...anyways, 4 fucking days wholy shit....

wow daubs, although im not doubting you, i am however doubting your sources. i think this is a scheme to get tons of business and lots appl in there, what madman would publicy tell everyone that axl will be at some small pub, and everyone show up?
theres gonna be 1000 ppl waiting outside to get in.

p.s suicide girls is a burlesque showing featuring 4 skanky nasty british girls who are nekkid but covered in tattoos and body peircings, not sure exactly how they will entertain but we'll see in 4 days.

I'm sure they can bend the rules for when Axl Rose shows up  ;D

It is confirmed the after-party is there, but a poster on the last page said they still aren't sure whether to make it VIP or not. It would be the ultimate experience to get in the bar with Axl there, but it would be extremely difficult to get in with it being announced Axl is going to be there. It seems likely they'll limit it to those on a guest list. If only we could somehow get on that list

Yeah, they played Rocket Queen a few times; I hope they play it too! Perfect Crime would be cool since they haven't played it yet and it is an option on their set list. TWAT would be great as well, and also the 2 new songs we have never heard: If The World and especially Prostitute. Those songs were listed as options on the Estero, FL setlist pic. Maybe we'll get lucky!

Either way, most of us going to this Halifax show haven't seen GN'R at all or in this incarnation so whatever they play I'll be ecstatic and I'm sure all of you will be too.

Coming to this thread a bit late, but better late than never. Surprised to find so many other Haligonians on one message board! I'm very much looking forward to the concert tomorrow, as I missed the Crue and Alice Cooper shows. Figures, the one time I decided to do a term abroad with school, Halifax started getting good metal acts! I'd take Guns over the Crue and Alice in a heartbeat though.  ;D

As for setlist wishes... I'm knocking on wood for 6 new tracks.... I know that typically, they've been doing mostly the old catalogue, but I thought it was great that they were trying out all those new songs earlier on. If we get Better, Madagascar, The Blues, IRS, TWAT, and CD, I'll be pretty happy! I'd love to hear some dirty diamonds from the Illusion albums too (Don't Damn Me, Coma...), but that's a slim hope! In any case, it'll be a thrill just to see the band live.

What's the story on pre-drinking plans? Still got room for another fan?

I'm sure most of us want to, but with the bar closing at 2am, it's looking like the after party will be VIP only.

Somehow we need to get in to that after party!

I'd be up for the alehouse at 6. Should I just keep my eyes peeled for folks with long hair and heavy metal shirts?

Don't think I'll bother trying to go to the after-party... if it's only VIP's after 2am, I don't want to risk wasting my money. That, plus I've gotta work the next day.

There is an article in today's Chronicle-Herald (on the front page) saying that Axl won't be onstage until after 11pm and how some lady who wanted to see them can't because she is in a wheel chair and needs to book an Access a Bus but they won't be running after midnight.  I also heard on Q104 this morning that the after party is being pushed later because of the late start.

Whoo, this is the night!

I gave all of my bud G n' r shirts for the concert, one of my buddy's wife is wearing my shirt I had since 1991. It doesn't fit me any more. So I figue that with the all of the opening acts Axl and company should take the stage around 10:30, 11 pm.

I was talking to the staff at Bubble's Mansion today and they said they were axpecting the band at 12"30 but that has changed. As of this afternoon they were waiting to get word as to whether or not teh y could stay opened later, they're waiting an a licience to be issued.

All of the after hours tickets are sold out, now it's all on the band shoulder's to show up on time.

Either way have fun gang, I know will. I'm getting ready to leave now, this should be great.

Cheers!

DH

WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE SHOW. It was surreal! I'm still reeling from it, and thinking about leaving for Saint John now.

Liqour and Whores was done when Axl brought The Trailer Park Boys on stage and Bubbles comes in and says, to great applause "This is one we play down at the legion sometimes - called liqour and hoes".

Overall, the night was just unbelievable.

Die Mannequin was a little offkey, but good

Suicide Girls were kinda lame, but some nice t*tties being shown.

The Trews rocked the house and had the place pumpin by the end.

GnR just blew me away, and I think Halifax blew them away too!!!

I had such a great time, the band sounded great.  Met the singer from Die Mannequin, cute girl, got a signed cd from her.  Enjoyed the Suicide girls.  mmm boobies.   Not a Trews fan, but they were pretty good.  Before the Trews, I bumped into Frank (happiest guy on earth) and Del James who were wandering around the floor.  Very cool guys.
GNR were awesome, even better than when I saw them in Toronto 2002.  Getting to hear Better in person was amazing, love that song.  I liked the solos and jams the band did, way better in person than hearing a bootleg.  When the new songs started people didnt react, but got a good responce when finished.   Hearing the whole band play L&W's with the TPB's was hilarious. Tommy was laughing his ass off the whole time for that one.
A lot of people were expecting train wreck, but left surprised at how good the show was.  GNR won over a lot of skeptics last night. Now if they an just get that album out.......
Thanks for coming to Halifax!!!

I'm new, but just registered so I could post my review...

Overall it was a really great show. I've never seen Guns N' Roses before and have been waiting since I was 13 to finally have the chance. So just getting to go to this show was a pretty big deal to me. At the same time, it was going to be very hard for it to fully live up to my expectations. But even considering that, I can't really complain too much.

When we got in line around 7:45, a security guy was yelling out all the stuff you can't take in. One of them was wallet chains. When he said that, he pointed right at mine. So I had to get out of line and take it back to the car. That sucked, but wasn't the end of the world. But when I came back the line was gone.

When I got in, we found our seats, realized they weren't half bad, then went to check out the merch. My wife and I each got a shirt, I grabbed one of the posters and a skull cap with the old GN'R logo for our son.

Around 8:30 Die Mannequin came on. They sucked ass. I like a lot of different types of music and lots of it other people would say is horrible. But that band was not good. The singer kept getting down in front of the stage. Every time she did that I thought, "Great, the time it takes her to go down there, sing and then climb back on the stage, means it's going to take that much longer for the song to end." Eventually they did stop, but only after a very long, annoying song that again involved the singer going down off the stage.

The Suicide Girls came on maybe 9:00-9:30ish. Not bad for what it was, but kind of boring after a while.

The Trews came on sometime after 10:00. They weren't bad, but not really my thing.

It must have been around 11:30-11:45 when GN'R came on. Everyone was going nuts during the into music and as soon as Robin started playing the opening to "Welcome to the Jungle" the place just exploded. It was pretty overwhelming for me and kind of hard to describe. It sent tingles up my spine and my knees were a little shaky. It was just a flood of emotions and adrenaline all at once. I did noticed right away that Axl's voice was getting lost in the mix. The other thing I found was they weren't really loud enough. It was hard to sing along because I'm used to being drowned out at shows. Plus it was almost distracting in a way to sing along, so for quite a bit of the night I just listened and took everything in. After "WTTJ" the mix got evened out a bit and you could hear Axl much better. It stayed that way for the rest of the night.

"It's So Easy" and "Mr. Brownstone" were both great. Everyone went nuts for "Live & Let Die" which is kind of odd. I like the song, but it's not really my favorite. Must have been lots of old Beatles/Wings fans there. "Knocking On Heaven's Door" was good, but sounded a little different. I think they changed it up a little. It was hard to recognize it when they started until the first verse came in. "Sweet Child O' Mine" was also really good and the crowed was really into it. I heard that Axl had been getting drowned out during "You Could Be Mine", but not last night, he tore through it and I could hear everything. The crowd reacted pretty well for "Better" given that it's a song most of them have never heard. They weren't into "The Blues" as much, but part of that was also because of some momentum being lost with the solos. Each time a solo came along people were into it and cheering, but lots of them started sitting down. Which I can't fucking stand. Don't come to a Guns N' Roses show and sit. That's insulting to the band. My wife tapped my on my shoulder and said the people behind me were complaining because I wasn't sitting down. I just said, "Too bad." and kept standing. Mind you the band kind of shot themselves in the foot by times with the lulls during the show. That would be one of my few complaints. The set list combined with all the solos was total peeks and valleys. They would start to gain some momentum, then throw in something slow or a long solo. I didn't really mind, but it was really annoying how people around me would react by sitting. They still were enjoying everything, just enjoying it like a bunch of old lame people.

Towards the end of the show the Ricky, Julian and Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys came out and got a great response from the crowd. The band (including Axl) then played "Liquor & Whores" with Bubbles singing and playing guitar. Axl looked like he was having a great time and was laughing lots. It was really cool seeing guys from a show/movie that is done locally get that kind of recognition from GN'R and for the band to see how much people here love the TPB.

During Ron's solo he played "Oh Canada" and got a huge reaction/sing along from the crowd. He then played "Don't Cry". It was good, but I would rather have heard the band play it with Axl singing.

They then played "Rocket Queen" and "My Michelle", which were both awesome. "Patience" was next, then they ended with "Nightrain". After a few min they came back and did "Madagascar" which was really well done. The closed the show with "Paradise City". That was at 2:15am.

Some random things...

I was a little disappointed about some of the songs they didn't play. "Down on the Farm" especially. But also "TWAT", "IRS", "Used to Love Her" and "Chinese Democracy". I know they wouldn't have played all those due to time, but I think one or two that normally would have been included got left out for some reason. "Down on the Farm" likely got taken out to make room for "Liquor & Whores".

The crowd was good overall, but I would have liked to have seen people getting into it more.

Although it could have been louder, the sound was really good.

Axl sounded great.

Axl left the stage lots of times, but he always came back, which is all that matters.

Don't ask me to sit down if you're behind me at a show unless you want to be told to fuck off. ;)

Oh, and I saw Del James walking around with Frank between some of the opening acts. They were on the floor looking up into the crowd in the lower bowl. Del had a little walkie talkie. I don't know what they were doing. Crowd control?

Del is shorter than you would expect. But everyone is shorter in real life. And has short hair now.

Did anyone else see Merck and Beta during the show?  Merck was there by the stage all night and I only saw Beta come out when th Trailer Park Boys were on stage.  And I could see Del standing on the other side of the stage.

I think they will come back after the response they got from the crowd...plus, Axl likes the Trailer Park Boys so maybe that could help

You think that was a good crowd response?
Let me guess, you haven't been to many concerts.
People sitting on their asses most of the night and hardly singing along.. that's not very good crowd response.
Hell, more people sang along at the Goo Goo Dolls on Tuesday night.
I hope you prove me wrong and they come back. Lots of people don't make for a good response (other than ticket sales).
And it was a true testament when the Trailer Park Boys got more of an applause than the band.

I think a lot of the reason the crowd was so laid back is due to the fact that there was no alcohol for sale. The six of us that went started drinking at lunch time and halfway through the GNR set, the hangover started to kick in. I would imagine that 9000 people with access to alcohol would be a lot louder than 9000 people without it.

Also, shows don't tend to start at 12 midnight and end at 2 in the morning and people were probably starting to crash.  I think it is a good sign that people stuck around as late as they did...I would have stuck around til 4 in the morning if I had to.

I agree with all the above. But my point still holds tight. They weren't into it.. whatever the case may be.

I was on the opposite side of the stage and I saw Beta during the TPB as well. I guess Merck sticks to the left side of the stage (facing the crowd)

Yes agreed, I do know that GNR has better responses but from some of the concerts I've seen in the area they've done well...but also agreeing with the posts above that 1) there was no alcohol and 2) it was late for a lot of people on a monday night. I also hope that im not wrong with thinking they will come back.

Not yet, I don't think... full audio and video recordings do exist, but haven't made it into circulation yet. Patience...  ;)

Go right ahead... I don't know much about the guy who did the video recording - wasn't aware that there was anyone doing video in hfx these days. But I've heard the audio taper's work before - he did Damageplan / Slayer, Alice Cooper, and a bunch of other shows to come through here. Generally his work his pretty listenable - the Cooper one sounded great, especially when you consider the weather at the time. It usually takes about two months or so for the shows to make it into circulation though, so as I said before, be patient. We've waited for over a decade for this album to come out, a few months for a bootleg shouldn't be anything in comparison!

I'll be deregistering my account today - call it irreconcilable differences with the webmaster RE: censorship, freedom of speech etc. The taper(s) have not as of yet released any video or audio of the Halifax show, but if / when they do, you can bet I'll get my hands on it. If anyone wants to eventually get a copy, assuming I can secure one, let me know at aekold77@hotmail.com .

Cheers, all.

Does anyone here have any pictures from the Halifax Show.  I have a few cell phone clips, i was very very close to the stage but they took my camera on the way in.  Security was so tight.   Hope someone has some.
