The funny thing is that the people who think the Bush government managed to successfully pull off such a huge operation on 9/11 leaving no credible evidence or witnesses tend to be people who also think the Bush government has been totally incompetent since 9/11.

A cover up doesn't equal conspiracy theory to me. It means that the government wasn't 100 percent honest about what happened. Which is pretty obvious to me. This poll is important, because it indicates that most people didn't believe our administration.

No doubt. I think it's a huge shame that the Condi-Tennent  story got pushed to the sidelines by the Foley story, but I absolutely don't think that the
Bush government had anything to do with the planning or operations on 9/11 or even knew it would happen.

Anyways, i really didn't think this was a funny episode last night, but the more i think about it and talk about it with friends at work the more i'm laughing about it.  Bush blowing that guys head off was great.  And some of the "camera shots" were worked really well into the story.  like when at the end kyle has a gun pointed at his head and the POV swivels to reveal its stan...and when they see the conspiracy guy after hes been shot...very well done.

The Hardly boys for some reason really crack me up.  retarded characters but they're making me laugh.

Yeah, I have a feeling its not though, unless comedy central just throws a ton of money at Trey and Matt (which they have been).  They seem to be wanting to do other things.  Personally, I think they're insane, the show is only getting better and it takes 7-8 weeks to make a new "season", after that they get months off.  When it takes 4-5 days to make one episode and you get paid millions...i don't know, do the math  :hihi:

The good thing I just found out is that South Park is signed up for at least 2 more seasons officially.  That means in the worst case we still have 30 great episodes to look forward to over the next 2 years.  It will be hard for me to see the show go.  It's sort of become a tradition every Wednesday night for me to watch it new or rerun.  My grandma actually loved the show too and she watched it religiously all the way until she passed away last year. 

In other news did you guys see that "That's My Bush" is finally on DVD?

Last nights episode was this seasons best. Miss Garrison's tit scene was disturbing.

I love this show! It has been one of my favorites from the start. This season has been hilarious. There are so many little things that you have to listen hard to catch everything. I'm going to buy all the previous seasons on DVD because like all my other favorite shows this one will one day bite the dust. And in a world so politically correct, it's great to see them rip every person, group, religion and situation. There are many topics that I'd love to see them take on.

Personally, I think they just get stoned to the bejesus and start making jokes about current affairs and the shit just flows!

I did that myself, bought the seasons on DVD, and was in turn amazed at how much this show progressed over the past 10 years.  The first 3 seasons were kind of hard for me to watch this time around because you sort of see how amateur it was at first.  They still have their awesome moments (BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEFCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE) though.

The show really took off in terms of quality and poignancy after the SP movie.  The first few seasons are almost unwatchable.  Some of them are still pretty funny though.  Cartman gets an anal probe is just an all time classic.  The fire coming out of his ass and his total denial that anything is wrong is priceless.

For me season two is one of their best.  Eight being my favorite.

Haha Cartman stayed faithful to the Wii tonight.  Fucking hilarious how he kept arguing with his past self and saying he hated that guy.  Great wrap up table eaters!

Tonight's episode was great, I can't wait to see what they have in store for the season finale next week.  :yes:

Anyway, this week's episode might be the best ever.  My favorite parts:

1.) Cartman's initial reaction to a Muslim student
2.) The size of Hillary Clinton's ass
3.) The 24 theme (24 really had it coming)
4.) The general fear of Hillary's snizz.  :rofl:

Maybe it's my combination of a love for politics and 24, but this episode is an instant classic, if you ask me.

yeah this was a great episode, season 11 is shaping up to be pretty damn good.

It was good, but didn't have me cracking up holding my stomach from laughing so hard like most episodes do.  The beginning was great and the 24 references were awesome.  i loved stan and kyles bit about how to pin point the source of the terror group using all the big sites now like youtube, myspace, google maps.

I loved last nights episode. The 24 theme was just awesome. Had me cracking up so bad i almost fell onto the floor laughing so hard. I couldn't stop laughing at the in charge bit. Must say tonight's episode had me in tears at the end when Jesus asked Kyle to kill him.  "Eric Cartman must never know about this."  How in the fuck do Trey and Matt continually make this show better and better after 11 years?

But when the classic episodes come on you ever notise how they cursed more back then. I mean, back then they'd say "God damnit" like all the time which was funny in my book cause sometimes the way the character said it was just funny as hell like when that one dude said " Wow now that is the God Damnedest thing i've ever seen" i pissed myself when they said that :rofl: but now they just go "aww shoot" or "aww darnit"? WTF is that? thats not the South Park i know and love :rant: but they are getting more ballzy i think with trying to air that episode with Muhamed (or however the fuck its spelled) and the new one where Cartman just knew that the new kid was a terorist, which i find just more funny :rofl:

Tonight's episode was great! 

I really enjoyed the Davinci Code (aka "Movie with the most predictable ending...ever") spoof.  And putting that douchebag Bill Donohue into the show was great.  He's on MSNBC all the time, bitching about something, and he has the most obnoxious voice I've ever heard.

 

I really just love that they deal equally with the controversial and the ridiculous. 

The sex change episode was utterly ridiculous, when "Mrs." Garrison thinks she's pregnant, and wants an abortion.  That's just too fuckin' much.  How do they come up with that shit?

And, of course, the Mohammed episode was controversial, and the black screen talking about how Comedy Central is run by pussies that appears when Mohammed is supposed to be on screen really drives the point home. 

God, I love this show.

I love this show! This is the only show I watch besides Lost. I have watched from the beginning and I think they have gotten better. It is the only show IMO with real balls.

I think they could've taken it to a deeper level off "ofending" people and i think if they tried they could've gotten maybe 2 or posibly 3 episodes out of that one. Best moments from tonight:

1.) Butters - "You gotta be careful with scissors."  :rofl:  God I love his naivety.

2.)The address of "Les Bos" is 13280 which is kind of a numerical spelling of "lesbo" (works better, when you see it from inside the bar, so it's backward and the 2 makes a better "s")

3.) Just the idea that a gay man gets a sex change to become a woman, so as to be straight, and then turns lesbian...too funny. 

This episode also brings up what I think is an interesting/frightening issue about sexuality.  A lot of the time, you can tell if someone's had a sex change...maybe not quite as obvious as a transvestite, but you can tell.  But I saw this special on TV once, where the doctor(s) (both the surgeons and the ones who do the hormonal stuff) talk about remaking the person so that no one can tell.  And, I gotta tell ya, that kind of freaks me out.  Personally, I'm not bothered by the process, if someone has the root psychological issues that lead them to such a procedure, and I hope it makes them happy.  But I can't imagine I'd be the only one bothered to find out...you know...after the fact.  :nervous:       


Oh...and they did enough things on this episode to get Don Imus fired ten times over.

Last nights episode was great, did an amazing play on the movie 300.

The slow-mo coffee making was very well done, in mocking 300.

my favorite slo mo scene was when mrs. garrison kicked the persian dude in the balls, it was probably directetly from when the Spartan king kicked the persian into that pit in the beginning of 300. i also loved the dramatic metal music just like from 300. that episode was a riot.

this is season 11. each season is split in two, this season will end with another 7 episodes in the fall, with 14 total episodes.

Tonights episode was great, however, i must say i was a little disapointed with the lack of kenny and stan. Craige had more lines then kenny and stan put together (actually they didn't have any).

VERY disappointing episode.  A lot of cursing and dirty words back to back gets old VERY fast to me.  A few of Cartman's lines made me smile but I really didn't start laughing till he lost the filter on his thoughts and said the personal things, like how he wet his bed and his cousin and him touched wieners.  When he tried to prevent saying those things it was even funnier.

the pedophiles all killing themselves one after the other was good too.

but overall i was pretty disappointed.  just expect a little more for a premier episode than blatant cursing.  this was more like a middle of the season episode that they just throw together.

"i got a golden ticket" was a nice touch too.

I've often wondered how many self-inflicted gunshots to the head have taken place in South Park episodes.  There were at least seven or so, last night, and SOOO many over the years.

yeah it was okay, i was expecting a little more from the premiere episode. the premiere episode from last october, the world of warcraft one, was a lot better.

The T & P episode wasn't supposed to be a real episode.....it was a joke that they played on the entire South Park fanbase who were awaiting the cliffhanger for the first season episode where Cartman was supposed to find out who his father was.? Everyone was tuned in and it was April so they played the ultimate April Fool's joke.? Comedy Central had thousands upon thousands of calls and angry letters sent of people bitching about not seeing the real episode.? Totally classic.? Then they teased it again with the Cartoon Wars episodes.? Totally hilarious deal though.

I watched this episode again and I really think it's more entertaining to folks who have seen what they're spoofing.? I remember watching it that night like, what the fuck is this?  Dude I honestly expected it to stop after like 2 or 3 minutes, but it kept going and after the first commercial break I think I started to crack up then.  I just remember it actually being covered in the AP because of the insane amount of complaints the network had.

Just saw the new episode this weekend and I'm sorry but I did think it was funny because I personally would love to be able to blame a medical problem on my reason for telling the people I really can't stand what I think about them. Some of the timing was hilarious. And I loved the end "Shit". South Park has always used swearing since the beginning, albeit, not the whole show but if you understand what they were spoofing, then you would understand they weren't using the swear to just make a show.

The pain of pregnancy is your whole body cramping up and the pain radiates through your entire body and if the baby is too big for the hole, then you rip and can feel that as well. All this doesn't stop until the baby comes out. So, if you're having a problem pushing, you could be there for a long ass time.

Not trying to argue but I have experienced both and I'd rather have a bad shit. Did you clear the restroom or did someone have to come in to find you?

eh, I disagree.  the first two were chuckle-worthy, but not the gut busting comedy I expect from southpark. 

I thought the epi was pretty good. I loved all the bullshit imaginery characters that Americans came up with - I loved Ronald picking up his arm too! And Santa Claus burning up like a set of curtains! And Cartman forcing them to use those nicknames to trap the leprechaun. I also thought taking Kyle to court over the balls issue was awesome because it was a pun on just how ridiculous people are today with suing others and taking people to court. I'm loving this season so far.

 :'(  If only that were true.  You see, my family never evolved the opposable thumb, but over the centuries we took it as a badge of honor.  Until I was born, that is.  I finally cashed in my family's evolutionary destiny, and was born with opposable thumbs.  My family was so proud; they had evolved!  Throughout my youth, my family encouraged me to do things they couldn't do: eat using utensils, masturbate with only one hand, and, most importantly, use a remote control. 

Life was good!  That is, it was good until I became a teenager.  Teens can be selfish, and I used the dominance my opposable thumbs gave me to control what all of us watched on television.  I was a bully, but I didn't care.  My thumbs gave me the right, the power, and, damnit, the obligation to run that remote control.  I was God. 

Of course, I couldn't have seen what was coming.  Teens are so selfish that they rarely see the consequences of their actions.  My father, upset at losing his alpha status and my subsequent attempts to mount my mother, went out drinking.  Without a prehensile thumb, drinking was never easy, and I can only imagine how they must have ridiculed him, downing shot after shot of Early Times through a straw.  When the cab finally brought him home (don't drink and drive, kids!), he was absolutely wasted.  He popped some pizza rolls into the microwave.  You see, pushing microwave buttons is something he was able to do really well.  But when he tried to remove the pizza rolls, he wasn't able to grab the plate, and it fell to the floor, smashing into 1,000 porcelain pieces, the pizza sauce looking like blood on a wounded soldier.  I ran in to help, having seen an after school special on the dangers of drinking. 

And then he flew into a rage!  "You think you're fucking better than me, thumb boy?!," he screamed.  The first blow came so suddenly that I was in shock.  The second came soon after, and it was all over.  My world went black.  When I awoke, I noticed first that I was in pain all over.  But as my mother was washing the crusted blood from my eyes, I realized that a more severe pain was localized in my hands.  When I looked down, I saw the horrible truth.  My thumbs were gone, left only as bloody stumps.

My world was thrown upside-down.  What were my options?  Sewing them back on?  No.  Father had run them through the garbage disposal.  Prosthesis?  No, that was only for those children that Bush found worthy of insurance.  My career as an under-14 darts champion fell apart.  I tried to run away, but no car is interested in a hitchhiker without thumbs.  When I returned home, I sought the solace of diversion.  I scooped up the remote.  It fell to the floor.  I tried again.  Again it fell.  My gift was gone.

Last week's epi was funnier. Although great moments for me were Jesus, (fictional character? I had to laugh sorry), and the arguing over who was the baddest, and the forest animals and the comment that whoever thought them up was one sick "f***". Yeah, I think it's going to be something about terrorists and also something about the promise of sucking balls. They already mocked the legal system last episode and how everyone sues everyone over every thing.

Nope, the Woodland Critters were imagined up by none other than Eric Cartman during his tirade of Kyle for his Christmas story.

Stan was in class when it was told, therefore remembering it.

Plus it did cut away to Cartman to give you that subtle hint once they were like, "I'd hate to meet the person who imagined them up"

I never really "got" the whole trilogy.  The last one was South Park goes post-modern.  It had its moments.

i liked it.  will like it more with repeat viewings i'm sure. 

would have liked to have seen more of a battle.

i've read that the imagination land story was supposed to be the second southpark movie, but they couldn't think of a story that would go the mandatory length to make it a feature film.  add in some more action scenes and some musical numbers and i think they could have done it.

the last few scenes were great, imaginary ball sucking and butters realizing he isn't a god anymore.... "aw shit"

Despite my criticisms, it was worth watching, if only for hearing Al Gore make a "whoosh" noise as he, cape and all, tries to fly away.

Another great Episode this week, lots of laughs. 

lol one dissappointing thing from this, the critters, you didnt see them get what they deserved, they sort of had an anti climatic role in this one.

Ok. Last night's episode rocked! Literally. First, why don't they put all that energy into learning to play real guitar. Then Stan's dad trying out the video game in his underpants. Then the high society party. Enough coke and was it, naked girls in the house? Then the dude showing his moves for Stan at the table. Kyle playing in a bowling alley. Mr. Marsh getting into Stan's heroin game. He wouldn't stop so Stan had to call his mom. And the dude at the video store, like hey, we have a rehab game. And the end was the best. I laughed at several parts.

I have seen friends post their Guitar Hero playing and some other game in which they race cars online and it's like, how bored do you have to be to actually watch simulated whatever. I laugh cause other people who are into it, are like cool, you posted your song or your best race. I just don't get it.

One thing I forgot to mention. I wish they would do an episode featuring Mr. Mackey or Mr. Garrison - two of my other favorite characters I haven't seen featured in awhile. Mmmmmmm, kay?

are they going to do a "fans waiting for chinese democracy" episode ? it'd be funny to have cartman waiting for CD and travelling across the Us to find axl ...

That would be totally awesome dude but make it like one of the older people on Southpark like Stan's dad or Mr. Mackey. Mr. Mackey travels the country leather bound with ass chaps on trying to find out what's holding up the CD.

Ok. I love this too because I did that in grammar school. We had a secret list and all the girls ranked all the guys in our class from cutest to not. but - I also passed around a secret list for guys and made them rank the girls. The guys ranked the girl with the biggest tits in our class as cutest, even though there were girls who were much cuter. And the girls basically ranked by the type of boy they liked - for example - there were a couple boys in my class that were pretty good looking but because I knew they ate glue and always volunteered to pick up the sawdust that covers vomit, I thought they were the nastiest things alive. Funny how that works? Isn't it?

Did anyone watch Kenny vs. Spenny last night? I didn't catch this first one but I plan to take a look this weekend when they show re-runs. What it any good? Just wondering because they had an interview published with the guys that participate in this show and I guess they have had challenges like:

Who can make out with the most old women.
Who can have sex with their mother the most.
Who can gain weight the fastest.
Who can slap the most women in public.

I'd love to see the old women episode and the gain weight epi. I guess they have been on air in Canada for like 4 years and Trey and Matt are just executive producers who brought the show to the states. So, many episodes have already aired. If someone saw it, give some feedback.

It's not downloadable for free.......it's streamed for free.  You can't actually save the episodes to your computer.  They're available online whenever you want to watch them though.  Doesn't mean people won't still buy the South Park DVDs (which by the way are already marked down to 19.99 up to season 7 or 8 I think).

You can download steams (Veoh, YouTube, etc), and then convert it to .avi. I don't know if it's going to be some sort of encrypted stream, but yeah.

i agree actually i think it could have been alot better but i think some where along the lines trey and matt got lazy and just settled.

it had potential to be amazing for sure.  rumor was they were going to make it into a feature length movie, but couldn't think of enough scenes.  The DVD apparently has a lot of deleted scenes that i'm guessing are pretty hysterical.

there were some extremely funny scenes though.  every time i think of Jason saying "thats super hardcore" i can't but help smile, so funny.

manbearpig and al gore were great too.

It had some funny parts, overall a little disappointing for a season opener. The "I'm more than sure...I'm HIV positive" thing made me laugh every time.

OK. I did love the Jimmy Buffet thing too. I kind of hate Jimmy Buffet so all the fun poked did make me laugh. Especially when Elton John didn't show up (big AIDS activist) cause he was going to another benefit so Buffet played.

It was funny, I was a little let down, but the scene with Kyle yelling at Cartman for making AIDS jokes was great. Attacking their own show. And the cure was hilarious.

Nah they will be on for a couple more years. And because they have been on for so many years you can't expect every season to be the best or even better than the last. With time quality of all shows eventually declines. South Park was declining for a little while but the last couple years have been really good overall. Some of the best episodes have come in the last 3 years but I wouldnt be surprized if this was a "down" year for them. Its tough to stay so good for so long. :smoking:

season 7 to 11 have been great.

For the record, South Park was never on the decline! It's just some seasons are better than others.

The show should always be great though - they can whip up an episode in a week.  with all thats going on in the world right now they should be having a field day.

this new one was alright. still dissapointing. i swear, the last really good south park was the "we are lezbos" one from last season. the imaginationland series had its moments but was just okay overall. i know they can do better. oh well.

I guess it might not be funny to some people but it was really up there for me because in my english class our teacher showed us a video or a documentary about a urban legend where they do a lottery to sacrifice some one in the town to have a good harvest and it was just so dead on that it was just great imo.


sometimes i think that South Park producers watch me and my friends cuase it seems sometimes alot of wat we do is also portrayed in the show as well.

Wow...pretty weak again. I don't think they've ever started a season off with me laughing less than these first two.

It was a very preachy episode.....but it had it's moments.  Had some laughs in it.

It was great up until we found out she survived.  Then it was just annoying.  It was pretty hilarious when she shot herself though.

That's because the writers are just normal folks like the rest of us and all the shit they write about is really how most people are in real life - especially kids - we always had the one jerk in our group of girls too! Now of course they take it to the extreme which in real life we do but mostly not.

And I remember the movie you are talking about - I saw it in English class too - I think it's called "The Lottery". Great movie. Great lesson.

Stopped watching after she shot her head off. I really didn't think it was funny but it was dead on with the comment on today's media and how people are so obsessed with stars. My hub finished watching the rest and said I didn't miss anything. Peeing on the lady bug was the funniest part of the whole epi IMO.

I thought the message in the Britney episode has already been discussed at length.  It wasn't anything new - I almost feel like Matt/Trey ripped off the talking heads on the news.  I think that Dr. Drew guy is going to release a book about how we have brought back the human sacrifice.

I dont know if i can pick an all time favorite episode but I do absolutely love the woodland critter christmas. Its the only time in the history of the show I fell off my chair laughing so hard after the hail satan line. It was just so shockingly funny.  :rofl: I also loved the ending.  :smoking:

I love it when they take the piss out of movies. Stereotypes anyway. Like in imaginationland, end of the first episode when cartman is in the truck the "when a man...has been wronged" speech, i found that hilarious.

I used to watch the early seasons when i was about 8 then they stopped showing them on normal Tv channels and only started showing them on SKY. I didnt get SKY until about 2 years ago. So last 2006 summer time hols,  i found allsp.com realised i had alot of catching up to do and rediscovered my south park love, and found the later seasons were even better than the earlier ones.

Good episode.  I loved Fox News coverage of "cheesing" that Kyles parents watched.  Mr. Mackey was good in this one also.  Cartman and Mr. Kitty always crack me up.

I completely agree. I LMFAO at a lot of stuff in this episode. Especially the reference to Anne Frank and Cartman hiding cats. and I love Kenny trying to choke himself while the lecture is going on. And it's true, as soon as kids hear something they try it!!!!

Did you guys notice Kyle's dad was riding the Jewish Princess? I loved the fight scene too and the end where he acknowledges his wrong doing and touches his wife and she is like Don't touch me Gerald. Probably what some of those political women would say if they could!

Lastly, was Heavy Metal a Sammy Hagar tune? I was trying to figure out who it was. Loved this episode especially because my mother-in-law is a cat lover and I was teasing my husband that she is a crack house for all the kids who want to cheese in her house. She has like 5 cats and is 73 years old. My husband said well what if I want to try cheesing - I told him to go by his mother's house.

THIS is why I love this show.  It had NOTHING to do with hookers, but because they can get a show out so quickly, unlike normal animation, they can hit on the recent topics.  If the entire show had been about hookers, it would've been hit or miss.  Personally, I still prefer the episode where Jimmy gets boners and then finally bangs a hooker.  But just throwing it in at the end...perfect!

The first episode was alright, nothing special, except for the "I'm not sure, i'm HIV positive" line which was great. Overall I think the season is getting stronger and much funnier, though being a Patriots fan the constant reference to them cheating made me cringe  :no:

I thought the Patriots aspect was the funniest thing about the episode.  I'm a Patriot fan too, though so it did kind of sting a little bit.  At least they waited awhile to put this one out.  If this had come out the week after the Super Bowl I couldn't have handled it.

I agree, maybe i'm just being a biased New England fan, but it seemed a bit preachy.

Like how they attacked sports analysts for saying what the Patriots did was "no big deal". Well... it wasn't.


The Patriots taped defensive signs, it's not that big of a deal, teams try and do this to get ahead and it's not that much of an advantage doing so. Why would any ESPN analyst try and downgrade what the Pats did? What reason would they have for blindly excusing what the Pats did? The truth of the matter is what the Patriots did wasn't a huge advantage at all, the fact that they did what they did is a bit laughable as losing a first round pick for that footage of defensive signs isn't a good trade off at all.

Hmm.. I guess i'm becoming a bit preachy myself so i'll get back to the subject...

The whole cheating aspect of the episode was funny but a bit overblown, IMO.  : ok:

Hey, I'm still bitter, what can I say?  I thought the episode was funny though.  Until the end when Cartman gave his speech about how Belichick decided to play it straight this year to show the world,,,,,,,,,,, and they lost.  It was funny though, I can laugh about it now.  If this episode came out the week after the Super Bowl though, that'd be a different story.

My favorite of the more recent episodes is "More Crap".  That had me laughing pretty good especially at the end.

Ok. I loved this episode but didn't think it was that funny. People are obsessed with the internet these days and I wonder what would really happen if we lost all internet connection - how would people react?

Best parts of the epi for me:

Randy sneaking into the secret internet room, surfing for all his sick fantasies and cumming so loud he wakes up the whole village. The best part was the gis (sperm) all over the room when they busted in on him. And him walking around with blue balls.

second best part was everyone not knowing how to fix the internet problem and then Kyle justs walks up there and unplugs it and it worked again. That is usually the only thing necessary when having problems that's why I laughed so hard!

Randy's fantasies were really sick. Puke does not make me horny.

Nowhere near as badly as you would think. A lot of us hate ourselves for it, or rather our relentless participation in it, and I for one pray for the day that the entire bloody thing goes down!

I actually liked this episode.  It wasn't rip roaring laughter ha-ha funny, but it had it's moments.  It almost reminds me of the Renaissance Fairs and such.

Ok. I thought the characters staying in character were hilarious only because I have been to one of those old days towns and it's true! I took my kids and was secretly laughing my ass off because of the acting. And I love how at the end of the day, they all quit at exactly five, nothing seemed to phase them and they went home. But there was an old reference in this epi and I can't remember what it was.

And I loved Butters swinging Cartman at the dude to knock him down and at the end he slaps Cartman on the bus and finally releases his hand and passes out. I love the way they name places in this show too. Like Crusty Crotch for a Chuckie Cheese rip off. And what was the name of the arcade last night?

I thought it was a weird one.  Two strange plots, combined into one episode.  The repeated raping of Indy was pretty funny, but the Chinese stuff was just odd.  I kept expecting them to reveal that Cartman was right...there's nothing funnier than when his worst instincts are proven correct somehow (like in the 24 parody episode).  Overall, not sure what I thought of tonight.  An awkward start.

Last nights ep was not as funny as last week but I did love Craig telling them why no one likes to hang out with them and the parents fighting over the kids as well as the cops refusing to help because some shit is always going down. But I can totally relate because when I was younger, I was always thinking up shit with my friends that usually got us into trouble. There were a few of my friends that my parents told me to stay away from but I never listened and I'm sure some parents told their kids to stay away from me. Halloween was the worst, we were always getting into trouble at Halloween and it never had anything to do with drinking.

I'm just commenting now because I forgot about the thread. I loved when he swallowed his underpants and then got caught with no pants by whoever was walking in the hall. Cartman's just like, hey man. Although more recent south park doesnt lol me up as much, i prefer it when they parody movies.

Last episode was quite boring, as was the first episode of last seasons "trilogy". Hope it will catch up on the follow-up.

the scenes of violence in Pandemic were funny, but the episode itself was average.  hoping part 2 is better.

Sadly, yes.

Maybe it was amusing for half an episode for those who saw Cloverfield (not me).  But mostly wasted.  The only thing really decent about it was Craig's constant, monotone berating of the other kids.

I thought the episode was okay. Like a lot of South Park I'm sure it will grow on me with repeated viewings.

the Craig thing was really annoying to me.  Randy was the funniest part of both episodes.  Classic Randy Marsh.

I do like how so many of the "unimportant" characters in the show have distinct personalities and play hilarious roles.  Randy as an alcoholic a season or two back...classic.

i miss the randy episodes.

Another episode with a strong "Randy goes overboard" theme...are they going to the well too often with that one? 

Anyway, this was better.  I'd bet anything they had two versions of this pre-made for weeks.

Loved that Palin has a snobby accent, and the "dog gone it" crap was just a hoax.

Good spoof of Ocean's 11 (or 12 or 13) too.

no real laugh out loud moments.  randy was great.  definitely sums up the extreme moods from both sides.  some people are insane with their obama love and the mccain supporters think its the end of the world. 

i liked how Ike was in on it from the beginning.  :hihi:

they really didn't do anything funny for the election though.  the hil-dog episode was the closest they came I guess.

That's the first one that really got me laughing all season.  Now I know what it's like to be raised by an abusive gay father.  :rofl:

Last night's ep was hilarious. Notice the last name of the kid - Guermo - sounds like Quermo - and the dad with slapping the shit out of the gym coach and child protective services was hilarious - no one did anything and notice how he told them not to butt into how he was raising his kid. But the best is the end where the dad goes to the basketball game and discovers he likes it because the other parents were singing and doing actions to songs - like making fun of our sporting events with We Will Rock You and I can't remember the other one but I laughed my ass off. Great take on high school musical. And the fact that most of the songs from the movies are just like singing what you say. Also, loved Cartman's solo in their song at the end.

This season, to me, has been great.

n the comment about hybrids not doing the trick, was fuckin epic.

i thought the funniest part was when Cartman was making fun of that new kid they were hanging out with because he had a lisp and diabeates :rofl: just how he mimicked him was funny as hell.

One of my favorite episodes from the past couple years. The Guermo father and Scott talekson had me laughing so hard it hurt.

A little late (it's like everyone's distracted  ;D), but last week's episode was pretty good.  I always enjoy the gullibility of Butters.  I also like them making fun of dumb kids and their trendwhoring (Hot Topic!).  Were they also making fun of that new vampire movie (Twilight...I think?)?

Yeah, that and the HBO series "True Blood".  Vampires are hot right now.  Are kids really getting into that though?  Dressing up as vampires?
