Title: Most anticipated? Post by: acompleteunknown on December 22, 2006, 02:16:51 PM With GNR's Chinese Democracy topping the list of most anticpated albums...I was thinking, what other highly anticipated albums...with equally long waits exist?
Dr. Dre's "Detox" obviously... Zac de la rocha's solo album is becoming very CD-like...now 9 years in the making. Title: Re: Most anticipated? CD was recorded last year with Ian Astbury on vocals, but with all the legal battles over the name of the band, they haven't been able to release it. Currently still appealing the judges decision barring them from The Doors name. Title: Re: Most anticipated? Post by: Kujo on December 23, 2006, 06:38:59 PM I didnt hear that but it is possible. I just heard that he felt they were disgracing Jims memory by continuing to tour with Ian singing. As with anything else, if you werent in the room during the conversation its all speculation. All I know is that I saw them play in West Palm in 2005 and they were great. The band was tight and Ian sounded great.
