so we have to click on the 77 gb torrent and uncheck all the boxes not pertaining to dublin 2006 , then download ?

You can use utorrent programm to choose what files to download & Seed.

At the Moment I have Dublin as High Priority Seeding & the other Shows as low priority.

What happened to the torrent? It isn't on the tracker.

* I deleted the old torrent because of the Sweden files in it*

So for this New torrent you need to do the Following,

- Stop The Old Torrent & Remove it from your client.

- Delete the Following Folders from your Downloading Folder.

- Download The New Torrent File & Use the old downloading folder, In that case hopefully you will keep what you have downloaded so far.

* Also I need to inform you that I cannot seed specific shows in priority...So I will seed All of them equally..Only the Leechers can select to download specific files/shows and make priorities.

Do you have enough room on your hard drive?  Even if you don't download all the files it may not work because of that.

I'm just downloading all the files at once, onto an external harddrive. Good thing I just bought a big 250GB one :)

First I have no problem you to watch any other of my "GNROSAS Production" DVDs that i made in the past or the UK Compilation DVD...Yes You can enjoy all that...And yes you provided the collage.
So Enjoy the UK Compilation DVD!!!

But The 7 Gigs I filmed, I don't want you to watch...
and I don't want you cause of the simple reason that you keep on reffering to them with sarcasm as "a Holiday trip".

You are failing to Understand that When I went into these gigs i went with only 1 intention, to film them illegally risking a lot of money by my choice yes...I didn't enjoy them and it was no holiday at all I can assure you!!...

A Lot of Fans want to To Watch "Illegal" Videos to the concerts they have been.
Someone does the Dirty Job. And In that case it was me.

In My opinion covering the filming Costs (not profit) is something Fans should have no problem with
as they want to Enjoy an "illegal" Video, But they don't want to make their hands dirty or miss the concert experience. I Myself have no problem and i suport the Filmers for their costs.

You don't do it ''for the fans'', because you want the fans to pay you. And if you do it ''for you'', for having a souvenir for yourself... why the hell you wanted the fans to pay? I am a fan that want (want, wish, NOT demand) every GNR show. I will download everything I like (if it is for free), and I will upload/share everything I think people could like for free. If I ever have a chance to film a GNR show, I will be amazingly happy to record the show and then run to my PC to encode/edit the stuff I recorded to be able, then, to share it with all the GNR community that gave me FOR FREE everything I have.

If you ask me ''estebanf, do you want me to record a GNR show?'' I will say ''Yes, of course''.
If you ask me ''estebanf, will you do ANYTHING, like PAYING, for me to record a GNR show?'' I will say NO.

Would you give me 2000/3000 euros to travel around europe, buy a camera, learn how to shoot a show properly and see several GNR shows?

- I film bacause I like watching bootlegs & I feel I Must Film Because it is not cool to only let others do the "dirty Job" while i download for free their Shows...

- I film Cause it is an effective way to find more shows from your favorite band....

- I Film To Trade....But If People have nothing to trade,,, Then i end ask for to cover my expenses or provide a donation email

- AND YES because it is a very stressful job, I wouldn't have Filmed 7 UK Gigs If other fans had the balls to film them too...If other UK Fans Filmed well,, Then I would have only Filmed 1 gig &
never risked going abroad to Dublin to Film...

GNROSAS, there is nothing wrong with you wanting to recoup some of your money, you are right if it wasnt for your massive effort in filming these shows we wouldnt have them, thankyou for that.

it is unreasonable to expect people to film and record shows with no incentive - the ones that do, well thats great but we arnt all that noble.

To record this number of shows and try to get some cash for them is very reasonable, id have paid you without a thought for dublin and sheffield

decide to act like "4 years old" and make sarcastic & unrealistc comments about me & the filming situation? (eg "Paid Holidays", etc) or others even go to the extent of Banning me from the PCT tracker, because I Dared to ask to cover the filming expenses ...
Then that leaves me with no option but to put some "4 years old" rules for them....

It's great that you've filmed the shows, and i will really enjoy Dublin i know for sure, coz it makes a great souvenir from the show.

First I Left the Tracker Before I was Banned due the Disrepect towards me & the DVDs i produced..

And Certainly I don't Shout About My Banning Because I am Desperate....

I Just Shout Because An Unfair Decision towards me was done....and Yes I will feel better if you realise that my banning was unfair, although I won't come back to the tracker.

And Yeah It is better Seeing Fans contibute some $$ to help a filmer cover his expenses & film a show, when they are not willing to Film themselves.....
It is way better than filmers Hoarding Shows & ending with very, very few shows from each tour
because of fans expecting everything for free..

If more fans decided to Film shows & Organize then a lot less money will be involved &
more shows will be realeased for free....

IMO Filming brings More New Shows to this Community, & Support to the filmers
rather than a free tracker that expects everything to come for Free...

Free Tracker is GREAT to spread circulated shows to the Fans and it is really needed!!
BUT it can't really Unrelease much many New Shows....

I hope this isn't addressed to me but just in general...coz then you're really wrong.. i helped out filming a couple of times. Only due to my handicap i couldn't film (example: the Adler 2004 show and my ex did most of the filming).

This is no different than a drug dealer who goes to Colombia, picks up 'the goods', takes them back to the dealers in the states, then withholds the dope to re-negotiate 'his cut' because he's 'taking all the risk, and should get all the reward'.

Oh My Fuckin' God!!!! I am the same as a Drug dealer now....

I never said i was against giving some financial support to a filmer...but it ends with paying for a ticket and the dvtapes...wanting more is unaccaptable and i will never participate in that, and i know i'm not alone in this.

Maybe?some simple Food

These are the simple expenses that almost everyone (Most people i kn0w) gets covered for in every day life when he deliveres a product...and I can assure you i choosed the cheapest options as I Risked my own money, because it was a self funded voluntary project without sure outcome & no backup....

It is your right to not want to see that....But you have no right in my eyes to Ban Someone
because You Fail to see What are Considered as true Expenses in a real everyday Life.

Someone else Caould have added the following expenses too.

i know what the real expenses are. BUT you are a fan, taping shows isn't a job, so you don't get full coverage for it.

and ofcourse i undrestand that taping a show takes away alot of the experience of being on a conceert, but YOU decided to do so.

YOU said yourself (don't know which forum by now :P) you taped the shows to do something back for all the other shows you got. Taking it from that angle i think it's more then nice from other ppl to even concidering paying for some costs you've made.

So the only conclusion i can make out of this is that you never intended to trade these shows but to sell them from the start, sure it's handy to blame it on some ppl to try to make you look better, that's your problem. If you can't handle critisism, then you shouldn't have started the making of dvd's. ppl will always say things you don't like/appreciate, if you can't find a way in yourself to ignore that then you have big problems ahead of you (and not just forum related :P)

and about the PCT banning. We have rules (selling, etc) and ppl agreed upon them before becoming a member.
We don't have specific rules about buying.
It may sound hypocritical, but we are not that ignorant to think you can get everything for free, so buying something once in a while will happen.
BUT we made a tracker for the trading/sharing community and SELLERS can't therefor be members of the tracker, most of our members participate into sharing things they've filmed/found/made almost directly and that's the way we like to see it. making room for sellers (even filmers) on our tracker will not happen.

Now in you particular case, you decided not to sell the recordings but share them for free. That's great, but since you already said you didn't want to be back on the tracker..i really don't get why you still go on on this matter....(and why i still reply..will be the last time about the tracker rules subject)

Wrong My intnetion was to trade with other filmers....But then i realized that very very few people filmed nice quality 06 shows & had something to trade...so next step as i was leaving, it was covering the expenses as lot of people asked & wanted my shows and didn't have something to give me back
And I wanted something back...But i was not willing to compromise my espenses because of some
people were failing to see what  my true expenses were& what weren't.

Then i decided to share the shows for Free for the people who felt to support me for filming and offered me my expenses & also to the new GNR fans...I hated to bury those shows with me.


Yes but you use shows that come form Filmers/Sellers and you or members buy them to run yout tracker. Also the majority of shows that were shared on this tracker were Released By Buying/Selling.Also How can you ban a filmer when you use HIS Private Film to make a tracker work.??

I still assumne seeding one show at a time would have been more beneficial to all of us.If you are stuck at 85 % The seed is fucked obviously and  Nobody else will finish as well....

i'm on 92.7% on dublin, just gotta have some patience.

there is notting fucked. you just need to be patience. the torrent client will give out the parts you are missing. problem is that there are others with a stronger connection. and there client is requesting parts you don't need from the seed. so all you can do is wait.

I'd rather not have it all, then be teased with completion for days...

it's 70gb...i don't think anybody is getting teased here...you just need more patience. i once uploaded 20gb at once..it took me 5 days to upload (and i've uploaded more then double that amount).
Normally 1 dvd takes about 4-5 days of seeding (regular uploadspeed) so 70gb's is like 17 dvd's so i hope you can think for yourself how long this download will take (approx). and you should think of that before you start a download like this, saves alot of complaining.

im not downloading all of 70 , just the 2 shows that a few friends have a high completion on , manchester and dublin

sucks for me because nottingham which is the gig i want most has a stupidly low completion at the moment, so i'm gonna be waiting ages.

but dublin should be finished within the next couple of days i hope.

well disconnect and check back in a couple of weeks...but either way stop whining about the speed.

i'm not whining about the speed, currently my download rate is 250k so no issues there at all.

i've got dublin at 93% and manchester at around 76% so i'll have 2 shows to watch soon, also the DVD's that were sent out should be arriving soon so there will be more people seeding.

If anyone is stuck for an extended length of time check out your overall share ratio in your user profile. If it's below 0.4 then you can no longer download until you bump up the ratio through uploading.

yeah, i downloaded nightfall's 20gb upload (thanks again nightfall!) and it took me about 8 or 9 days to download it. you just have to have patience, its definetly worth it when it is done.

- Do Not Burn These DVDs with the burning software called "Clone DVD"
It burns my Authored DVDs with Problematic Menus/No Menus

I use the Software called "CopyToDVD" And it works perfect for burning my DVD5s/DVD9s

Also When you Burn into DVD9s Use The Lowest Speed possible (2.4x)
Also it is worth Checking the Burn DVD9 afterwards with the programm called
"DVDinfo" to check for any Bad Sectors.

- If you Cannot Burn DVD9s you can download them on your HDD and then you can use the following software called "DVDFabPlatinum"

anyway do you have a preferred version of copytodvd we should use. i see one of the most recent is V4.0.1.46, is that one ok. which one would you recomand the most.

be very aware that you may encounter problems whilst burning/playing dvd9s, I have sheffield, Birmingham and Dublin, sheffield and birmingham wont even burn! Dublin is fine however, can anyone help me out with sheffield or birmingham (from the UK)?

whoever thinks that he has corrupted menu on ANY GNROSAS bootlegs, try disabling AnyDVD if you use it. because it looks like that not CloneDVD2 but AnyDVD causes corruption of the menu, not physically but it causes wrong loading of the DVD and it causes unusable menus. I will continue testing it, but it looks like CloneDVD2 and its burning is ok, just AnyDVD causes the menu work bad.

please test it and let me know 8)

GNROSAS already said & wrote here (re-read) to use copytodvd at lowest speed (2.4 or 4) to burn his DL DVD correctly with correct menus. i did & it worked perfectly for me. just to remind you that important note, i know nero & clonedvd make corrupted dvd's. possibly the same for anydvd but didnt test.

I know about copytodvd, I just try to say that if you get something from trade and it has corrupted menus, try disabling AnyDVD. looks like that's the reason why gnrosas bootlegs look like they have corrupted menu, altough really they don't

Yes CopyToDVD is the best to burn DL DVDs!

Just finished Dublin...that's so awesome. I was fuckin there! My first GN'R show of 2006! That's awesome! Thanks again GNRosas, and thanks to those still seeding! I'll be seeding for a while too (I'll disconnect at night though).

For some reason Copy2DVD didn't work for me at all with these.  I got errors immediately and it ruined the discs.

I made 2 pricey DVD9 coasters.   :-\

They are burning fine in Ashampoo Burning Studio though, menus perfect and all.  So far I burned Dublin and Birmingham.  Working on Download now. 

I know a few people contacted me about B&P, I just want to make sure I can get them all burned correctly before I answer.

Let's say I want to trade with someone.

A Dual Layer dvd takes me 40 minute to burn, plus the cost.

How many regular dvd's should I ask for one DL dvd?

I ask for two. Maybe I'm a little nice though?

Here in Norway the DL's cost almost 8 times the price of 1 regular dvd.
If I were to trade it here, I'd go for 5:1.

I bought Memorex but seem to be making a few coasters.

I don't use DL when trading, I always copy some of the VOB files to 1 DVD5 and the rest to second DVD5, it was always possible to make this deal with the other side. DL are about 9 times more expensive than DVD5s so altough this is a bit unfair for the other side, it's still more fair than DL for 2DVD5s. depends on how much stuff are you trading, maybe if you wanna trade just a few DLs, 3DVD5 for 1DL show would be more fair.

when im trading i trade 1 show for 1 show regardless of format, b&p is totally different argument but when im trading its 1 show for 1 show, right now i can get 10x dvd9s for ?15 which isnt too bad

I am having hit and miss results.  Dublin and Birmingham burned fine but now I am having issues burning Download.

I'm using Phillips (2 euros) or Verbatim (2.4 euros).

My regular dvd's at the moment are TDK or Taiyo Yuden* which cost 0.38 euros.

I use Sony DVD9s. Never had 1 coaster yet, and I don't expect to. Got them fairly cheap. 25 discs for about $37 USD (on sale).

MAKE SURE YOU BURN AT 2.4x (THE LOWEST SPEED)!!

They could be fakes... Sony dvd9's that cheap sound a bit strange to me...

not neccessarily to be fakes, it could be the same situation as about Verbatim dvds - simply not verbatim like verbatim, there are verbatims with MCC or TY surface (these are the best), or with cheap surfaces like CMC or worse. the best is to check one disc in some information program, like Nero Infotool or VSO Inspector. it will tell you what brand of surface does the disc have. I know, too bad to say when you need to buy one and you can't check it...

Well, we usually know that when the dvd's are more expensive than the rest, they're the good ones...

But can you really tell the difference between a cheaper DVD and a more expensive one?

Never had a coaster with Ritek, and I've been buying them for about 5 years. They're solid over the years too.

Ritek and Ridata are different, my mistake.

Same company but different quality. Ritek are good, Ridata not.

They were on sale. I think the original price was about $60. And they were bought from Staples (a United States office supply store) and they usually have sales (got 100 Sony DVD5s for $25).

i saw some, also in staples (a uk office supply store  :hihi:) cant remember how much but they were on sale

When I checked the media on my computer the Memorex DL's I bought say Ritek.  I made 3 coasters so far trying to burn on them.  Grr!  I will try Sony next time, I used their regular DVDRs and never had an issue with them.

Staples Brand DVD+DL work perfectly fine for me and are cheap compared to some.

just to let you know, when you download these, you dont HAVE to put them onto DVD9's. you can split the source DVD into 2 x DVD5's whilst preserving the quality and preserving the menus on both discs.
