fortus.................no finck.........................on 3rd thoughts bumblefoot. no fortus, bumblefoot. finck.  ah, sod it can't decide. they all have their own distinctive qualities.  i think they're all great.

On pure stage presence Finck wins hands down for me...but based on guitar skills it has to be Fortus. Never been a fan of shred-sorry Bumblefoot.

Well, they all get a solo in November Rain.  I'd have to say Bumblefoot, since he gets the last one.

i love how they all have different styles

and my personal favorit is richard for reasons i cant explain hes just cool in my opinion

Richard can shred pretty well and can still play really soulfully too, and I love his tone, so my pick would be him. But all three of them are great. :beer:

i've always liked Robin, also i am a huge NIN fan and he was pretty badass whe he toured for them. But thats not the only reason i like him, i love his stage presence and overall attitude as well as appearance. i can't wait to hear his contributions to Chinese Democracy.


i love Fortus and BBF, but theres something intangible about Robin, just overall badassness and coolness that i love.

it's pretty hard to choose one.

until richard came in the band i was kinda fond of mr. finck but after seeing fortus on the bootlegs first and then live i say i'm more fond of him. so... richard fortus. can't explain why. his stage presence, his playing style, his skills... dunno.

but they're all great.

I think they're all very different guitar players. I like the fact that Fortus has got some more respection and I think he does most of Slash's parts very well. And he's also kinda Izzy-sounded player. Finck and Bumblefoot make the new sound for the band.. I love them both, so I can't choose one. They all do their jobs in this band.

Robin Finck has been one of my favorite players since NIN, and I was thrilled to hear when he became a part of GN'R. So Robin, hands down. That said, Bumblefoot is a gentleman, very gracious, and I would love to see him stick around.

Robin in terms of the look, the attitude, the playing, the overall "fit" with the band.

Ron and Fortus are fantastic players and mesh just as well, although I still get thrown off by the whole "three guitarits" thing, and that's *before* Izzy joins on stage...   :beer:

Do you think I actually give a fuck about that? I couldnt give a shit if he knows every scale known to man and can tap a mile a minute. Robin and Richard have more stage presence, energy and rock n roll essence then bumble could even dream of having.

all are good...as a technical guitarist and speed and versatility....ron still wins IMO ;D i must say though robin has improved 10 fold from '02 :beer: at the toronto show i attended....fortus didnt get much lead stuff he was mostly pure rhythm....only 3 small leads i think...he certainily is a ball of energy though but since he was mostly rhythm i was more focused on Robin and Bumble sharing the majority of the lead parts, lead guitar interests me more than running and jumping :peace:

That's not what I meant and you know it. I've been a fan of Robin and Richard for a long time and I know how amazing they are at what they do. They don't need to do use a foot guitar or any of that shit. They can play their asses off and can make their guitars cry. Thats what counts.
