After I found myself posting on this board in the early hours of Sunday morning in a, ahem, less than sober state, and after witnessing Chris' exploits in the early hours of...this morning, where he has probably doubled his post count with the amount that he has posted, I figured that we need a thread which can become the wasted's playground.

The rules are simple.

Post here when, and only when, you are pretty fucking out of your head. Unless of course you are replying to someone who has...enjoyed themselves.

The Jungle needs a few new, interesting threads.

And besides. It's fun to post/argue with drunk people. You can point and laugh at them.

I have been wanting to say this for a long ..... long time. Since we don't have any new news, and since we seem to have run out of good topics, why not talk about something completely different in the Jungle section, instead of trying to FUCKING start another "Who sucks who doesn't" thread at the Guns department.. Now don't get me wrong: the whole voting thing's been cool. I don't mind that. The thing that I do mind are the people who are just waiting for a topic that'll open up some sort of chance for them to bash either the new band.. Or the old one. It usually is about the new band (and who should be kicked out because they really REALLY suck), but sometimes we even have these "heroes" who try to convince (spelling? who gives a fuck) others that "the new band is a lot better because the old just actually sucked ass. I mean sure I listened to the old shit, but now that I listen to the new stuff.. Fuck Slash.. Duff.. Izzy.. Steven Matt and Gilby for that matter too.. Fuck 'em all.. Axl is the man.. Yeah.." That pisses me off too.

I mean if we don't have any new news.. We might as well just fight over who should be in the band and who shouldn't.. Because it can't be up to the bandmembers themselves to figure out if they should be in the band. I mean surely they do need outside assistance on the matter. How the fuck could Axl really realize who he wants to make music with without all of our musical knowledge, and our input.. I mean he really must be lost without us. I say fuck that. We have a new show coming up.. We have a date set up.. We do know (or speculate) that Guns would prolly not do another gig without any new material (live or single/album release). We have all this.. But still. Who knows... As for the thread, I'm still at work but I'm fucking wasted.  Had to have a meeting at 5:30 PM today, but it was with my boss and a bunch of fat, white, business-owning, male millionaires.  It was quite the learning experience for me.  I especially enjoyed getting drunk as the meeting went on, and how the interaction went.  You could say shit to anybody, and it was all cool.  Everybody felt so strongly and passionately about things, and they were all correct in what they were saying, being very smart, successful people, but ultimately were pushing different aims and different markets.  Anyway.......  time to go beat my boss at a few games of foosball.   Hopefully by the time I get home I'll be sober enough to go out drinking again.......  : ok:

I just put my laundry in the machines downstairs... and this crippled guy in a wheelchair asked me to help him transfer some of his laundry.  Of course I agreed, and proceeded to move some of the fecally disturbing pieces of clothing I've ever seen in my life.  Seriously, I think he just transferred shit to more clothing because he must have had so much in his underwear.  I'm sure the guy has some sort of incontinence problem, so it's not his fault, but damnit that was the nastiest thing I've ever done.

Man, I am so stoned right now.  You know, I'd been smoking pot every once in a while for over a year, and it was only this week that I discovered that I was doing wrong the entire time!  Well, I started doing it right and let me tell you, I can't remember when I've ever laughed so much before.  Today I was basically rolling around on the grass giggling while me and my buds walked to McDonald's.  It took so friggin' long!  I just saw Star Wars today, and I have to admit it was pretty good.  I thought it was hilarious when Darth Vader goes "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"  It was like Frankenstein or something, but I liked that, because after all this is a movie franchise that was based on serial movies like Flash Gordon.  HAHAHA flash.  Wow, I am so baked.

While I was walking home with the guys, we saw this old couple walking around in their pajamas.  They walk a little, hold hands, kiss at a street corner, and then cross and walk to a different street.  The fucking weird thing is, we see them EVERY time we walk down that street when we're stoned!  Jesus Christ, I am totally convinced those were real fucking ghosts.  Geez, I am creeped out now.  I better stop before I drive myself insane.

ZOMBIE PUB CRAWL

Yes, today was officially "Zombie Pub Crawl" day.  Around 300 people got together, dressed as zombies (makeup and everything) and hit various pubs together.  The pubs were warned.  If you walked by them, they would say "Braains" to you.  All the time.  I didn't participate cause I had to work the whole day (Saturday), but I knew many people who were, and met them at one bar.  It was a tiny bar, and it was packed, in fact, so packed, that some of the "zombies" were actually drinking at the gay bar across the street.

Anyway.. it was fun... I drank for free cause the waitresses all know me.  But it was fun.   But now I'm back at work, I'm working.... still working.. got another two hours of work.. it's sat. night.. lame.. but it was a fun night!

Just got home wasted, though I would only call this state as being drunk..

I'm feeling great though, after 4-5 years of wandering through the haze I've finally beaten my demon and been (quite) sober for the last 5 months I've started to enjoy life as it is, I've started to write a screenplay for a short movie, play keyboard again and also started a new hobby, kendo.

At the moment, well, things could be offcourse better in a way but without doing all the things I've done I wouldn't be where I am so I can't regret any of the bad choises I've made so things are pretty good at the moment, still have a lot work to do but this time I will get those things right, it will take some time but all I got is precious time..

Nah, I've been trying to watch what I say when drinking, so that I don't come off as a total dumb ass. Too, I've been looking for a good stumble drunk for a couple of weeks now, but I get bored after a little while and just go to bed.

I only drink top shelf. stuff like Woodford Reserve, Knob Creek, Blantons, Rare Breed, 4 roses, and Wild Turkey if I'm drinking on the sort of cheap. I live in the heart of Boubon country and my State doesn't tax liquor or tobacco very much at all, so a pack of cigs cost about $2.50, and a fifth of 101 WT about $20. The good stuff is about $30-40

EDIT : I would never cut good whiskey with anything but water ... thats just heresy

I am only a little hung over today. Just a bit of a crook gut but thats about it so Im quite happy.

The most exspensive drink I had was Johnny Walker Blue Label. I think its about $200 for a 700ml bottle but I asked for a glass of it at a pub one night and that cost me $23 for 1 drink. Thats pretty dear for a drink here in Newcastle but in Sydney a glass of normal Jack Daniels can cost up to $20.

Jack Daniels is Tennessee whiskey(sour mash), we don't drink that in Kentucky(bourbon), but I do appeciate good Scotch. A bottle of Jack here cost $10 or $12 dollars.

Drinking Russell's Reserve, 10 year old, kind of weak, but has a good vanilla/nutty on the front; warm/ buttery after taste. good whiskey ... hell, anything Jimmy makes is good.

My favorite whiskey is Maker's Mark. It is about $25 a bottle here. Knob's Creek is good but Maker's seems more smooth. I love that the bottle looks like someone burned a candle over the top to seal it. I always get hung over with cheap shit so I usually try to stay with top shelf stuff. Although I have had my share of Beam and JD over a lifetime.

I have yet to try those $200 bottles. It would have to be a celebration or someone else buys it. It's hard to piss away $200. :hihi:

Also, in this class I had to take, the teacher made us add up all the money we spent in one year on booze - seriously, it took everyone like 15 minutes to think about the year in review - my bar tab totaled about $10,000 but some had $20,000 or more. I could have paid bills, bought a car, invested, or took a killer trip all for the amount I spend on alcohol every year. I guess it's not a bad thing if I remembered all the drunk times but I have to admit, I don't remember where at least $2000 went.
