Title: vocal mixing techniques
Post by: loretian on October 30, 2008, 02:46:39 PM
From listening to the final Chinese Democracy single, compared to previously leaked demo versions, you can tell that it's the same vocal track.  However, the vocals sound tighter, more consistent, and are ultimately mixed much better.   I'm trying to find ways to do the same sort of things to my vocal tracks.  Does anyone have any tips or techniques to help achieve this?  I'm already familiar with doubling vocal tracks, compressing them, and applying various fx to improve the quality, but I would love to hear any other ideas people have on how to improve vocal tracks.

If you have any you'd like to share, please post them!  Thanks  : ok:
