Received this email today. No great surprise.

We hope that you are looking forward to your visit to the SECC for what promises to be a great evening. Guns N' Roses have asked us to share the following information with ticket holders.

We do not have confirmed timings for the Guns N' Roses concert, but it is likely to start and finish late. Please see the following guidelines on timings and information to help you plan your visit.

?Doors to the hall will open at 1830.
?The support act, Thin Lizzy, are expected on stage from 2000 and will play for approximately one hour.
?Guns N' Roses will take to the stage some time after 2130, will play a long set and therefore it is likely that the concert will finish very late.

The late finish of the concert may cause problems for patrons using public transport, so should consider alternative arrangements for getting home.

Travelling To The SECC

By road:
Leave the M8 motorway at junction 19 and join the westbound Clydeside Expressway (A814). Westbound on the Expressway (A814) take cut off signposted ?Partick/Glasgow Harbour? and take a sharp left at the first set of traffic light signals. This will bypass diversions and take you to parking at the west of the site. Park as directed by stewards. Car park fee (cash only) - ?6 per vehicle per visit.

Or, our postcode for Sat Nav is G3 8YW.

Click here to view in google maps.

Public transport:

?Take a train from Glasgow Central low level station to Exhibition Centre station at the SECC. Trains run every 15-20 minutes until approximately 2300. More information is available at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk./
?Bus service: First Bus 62 service and Arriva 26 service operate each day, approximately every 10 and 20 minutes respectively, adjacent to the SECC site. These services run from Argyle Street (62) and Finnieston Street, at the Clyde Arc Bridge (26). Both services travel to Glasgow City Centre and return, as follows: 62 via St Vincent Street, West George Street and Union Street and 26 via Broomielaw, Oswald Street and Glasgow Central train station until approximately 2300. More information is available at http://www.firstgroup.com/ / http://www.arrivabus.co.uk/
?TOA taxis will be available, at the dedicated taxi rank, after the concert, on a first come first served basis. Taxi Marshalls will be on site to manage queuing.
If you would like any further information or assistance please call 0141 248 3000, or email info@secc.co.uk
