Title: Top Films of 2013
Post by: Mysteron on January 08, 2014, 04:41:41 PM
Usually D does this, I have still alot of films to catch up with, this is a provisional list for now

1) 12 Years a Slave - It is just a good film to watch. Great story and the main actor is amazing.
2) Mandela - Road to Freedom A very strong biopic. The performances were strong. Both Luthor actor and Winnie actress put in great performances
3) Blue Jasmine A simple film with complicated characters. Cate Blanchett is very good as the unsettling and awkward Jasmine
4) Saving Mr Banks I like Mary Poppins, and this explains the darkness behind the movie. For me it made Walt Disney look like a conman, but I look forward to another biopic on Walt Disney
5) Captain Phillips Hardcore action movie, given it is based on a real story. Probably the most watchable of the top 4 for a short fix.
6) Great Gatsby A strong movie for Leo, shame it was release earlier this year.
7) Star Trek into Darkness - Great film and baddie
8 Hunger Games 2 - Second film better than first.
9) Hobbit 2 - Better than the first
10) Gravity 3D - Just for the 3D. As a 2D movie, it is a watchable movie but nothing special

Wolf of Wall Street
Hunger Games Catching Fire

That's all that rings a bell at the moment.

EDIT: I thought of more!

Curse of Chucky. - Because I simply love Chucky.
The Way, Way Back - REALLY enjoyed this for some reason...
Monsters University - Hey, if my daughters can watch it all day everyday, it must be good, right?
