It was the first concert after Chinese Democracy had been released. Yes, members and guests.   :peace:

I still think the May 12th 2006 Hammerstein gig was much more an event than the 2009 one. It still had all the mistery and drama from the unreleased album, and we didnt know what to expect, really. I remember everybody was shocked that they played TWAT, IRS and Better, and how good Axl's voice was, and that Bumblefoot was indeed the new guy, but that Robin got rid of the goth look.

I dunno, to me that was the pinnacle of the online community... Untill today, of course. :hihi:

Absolutely. I was still only lurking around as a guest back then. But with the Trunk/Baz interview and everything lining up. But today beats that.

Yeah, right? Before that, only Vegas/Rio 2001 would be that big, but then again, the online community wasn't so strong.

Yeah I remember a thing about Mike Piazza and the "IRS" song and Eddie Trunk lol

Crazy times then as now.

I think this is the peak though. NUTS

Probably going to break this on Friday.  Only thing that might work against us is the time zone.

They will never ban phones at a place that big.  So we will get song by song updates, I suspect.

You don't think it would be unlikely to ban phones in a venue named after a carrier?  :hihi:
