I liked the Rock n Rio version of Maddy over the CD version.

I'd really like to see Slash's take on The Blues (never got used to the title Street of Dreams) though.

I can go without IRS, but Madagascar, man I really miss this one.
And totally agree with @sakuL

That's one I never want Slash to touch, sorry. IRS could be cool

Maddy and IRS are essential GN'R classics for me.

Why is that? You don't want Slash to spoil it or vice versa?

Same. Would love to see them in the set.

I don't think the current lineup can perform anywhere near this level: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTzZUy4wFNU

'Madagascar' doesn't strike me as the kind of tune Slash would be into.

I like the song a lot, but it's pretentious as hell.

Does Slashes opinion count?

I think not

Shit, I'd forgotten how good those 2006 shows were. What a tour.

Is that Fortus, Bumblefoot and Finck on guitar? I can't remember Finck still being around in 2006.

Also, watching that makes me really think that during that time period, looking back, they should have just nailed CD stuff all the time- made the majority of the set that, with a just a couple of older 'standards' thrown in. Would have made a real statement.

Sounds odd, but i don't remember him having long hair like that! Weird how your memory plays tricks on you.

Looked like a pirate during that tour :D That was a great lineup though, my favourite of the CD-eras if you switch Brain to Frank ;D
