Just saw this:

Not sure if this is better quality than what's been out there already or not.

This show had to have done lasting damage to his voice though. Listen to the "you're gonna die" in Jungle. That does not sound healthy.

Quite a few of those early 1991 shows are ROUGH, vocally.

I think Axl's best ever live vocals are that tour, but not until the US leg that starts in December 1991.

👍🏽 yes, sir. That would be my exhibit A in why he had nodules develop and had to change how he sings to a way many people dislike. I know someone pointed out that vocal coaches like Ken Tamplin say you can sing like Axl without hurting your voice. But, when he demonstrates it, it doesn't sound ANYWHERE near as raspy as Axl. Also, Tamplin admitted that if you don't learn how to do it "correctly" when you are young, you can't do it "correctly" when you are older.

This same show showed up on Amazon Music in the last week or so when searching for Guns N' Roses with the same cover art.

It's not been uploaded by GN'R. It looks like it's credited to GN'R because it's GN'R.... Not because they uploaded it.

There's some "Perfect Crime" performances from that era that:

1) Prove cocaine is one hell of a drug.
2) Must have took a toll on his voice.

And always remember, Axl Rose's voice at even 75% is still better than 99% of lead singers at 100%.

Even Rob Halford isn't immortal, the beauty of this is that the lead guitar player, Glenn Tipton, is playing this with Parkinson's and Halford came back for a couple more tours simply because of that.

Jarmo, you gotta get GNR to hire Priest's audio/sound guy, listen to this sound.

Also, did anyone notice how serious/hard Axl tried on "Coma" during the NILT tour?

I think Axl reads the forum and was trying to give a "FU" to everyone who said he couldn't nail that final three minutes.

I thought he nailed it for sure when he was in Dave Grohl's chair.

I absolutely love this show.  In all fairness I have an attachment to it because my friend in high school bought this bootleg from an independent record store in NJ ( I think the 2 CD set was either 50 or 100 dollars, something crazy like that)and he made me a cassette copy of it and I played it to death for years.  This stuff wasn’t readily available back then so having a recording of a show was super cool.  I think the Cd was called Live…and Let Die.

The intensity of this show was unreal, and it had both Right Next Door To Hell and Perfect Crime on it.  Been listening to it on you tube since i saw this posted, brings back a lot of memories.

Before the internet I used to live for those bootlegs. There was a place down the street from me that sold them. With the internet and the ability to download all these same shows for free it’s crazy to think how much those CD’s and videos would sell for.
